Our Bathroom Range
Wet Rooms In simple terms a wet room is a bathroom where either a small section or the entire floor has been made waterproof with a drain installed in it. Accidental splashes or spillages therefore create no problems as the floor in effect has become one giant shower tray. There is now no need for shower curtains or screens if these are inconvenient to your condition. However we have a huge range of shower seats, grab rails, mix and match screens and more, whatever you require Able Access can supply you with the best.
Our wet room option offers total versatility and the ultimate in all-round level access, to bring ultimate pleasure back to your showering experience. Able Access offers such a huge choice of designs, that you will find it simple to combine comfort, style and practicality in your new wet room. Whether you want a sleek tiled floor with under-floor heating or our tough slip-resistant moulded flooring, we can make it happen.
Showerloo Enclosures Showerloo enclosures are a great bathroom alternative where space is at a premium. They are compact, multifunctional and ideal for use anywhere in the home. Showerloo features a built-in ceiling to retain moisture and an additional wash basin option. There are a wide variety of accessories available to complete this cost-effective, total adaptation to your individual requirements.
Level Access Shower In many bathrooms it is possible to fit our level access shower option. The shower tray is recessed into the floor so that the tray and floor are the same level, which makes this the ideal solution for wheelchairs and other wheeled access.
Bath Replacement Shower Experience and customer feedback have led us to highly recommend replacing your traditional bath with a bath replacement shower, offering a more easily accessible bathing solution. Our high quality shower trays boast a low level rim of 40mm. And there is also a ramp attachment available if required. They are spacious, comfortable, safe and can be fitted with a wide variety of screens for carer assisted bathing.
Our Walk-in Baths
If you love bathing but now find using your bath difficult then our walk-in bath range may be the perfect solution for you!
Our walk-in baths provide you with the accessibility you need to bathe safely and independently, without compromising on quality or style. Our walk-in baths are designed for comfort. The moulded and contoured seat provides the added safety and comfort of an anti-slip surface. Not only will you feel safe and secure, but our Walk in bath has a contoured door, which means once you are seated comfortably you need not move your legs to close the door perfect for those with limited use of the lower body.

The stairlift industry is so specialised that we have a partnership deal with Stannah. Stannah stairlifts are the individual market leaders and a household name in the stairlift industry. All of their products are manufactured in the UK and they have 24 hour customer support available every day of the year. Stannah is a family-run British company which has been making pioneering products since 1860. They are the worldâ€&#x;s leading stairlift manufacture with an unrivalled reputation for quality, integrity and service. They uphold this reputation by applying recognised standards to every product they make.
Our Stannah Stairlift We have a demonstration stairlift by Stannah in our showroom. We have been trained by Stannah to demonstrate the stairlift and we are able to answer any questions that you may have. Once you have tried and tested the stairlift, and you are happy with its design, style, strength and features we can arrange directly with Stannah for one of their highly trained advisors to visit your home for a free consultation. Stannah offer curved, straight and outdoor stairlift rails so we can accommodate all your needs.
The Rules of Buying a Stairlift 1.
Insist on a 2 year warranty When you buy a new stairlift you want peace of mind. We understand this at Stannah and that‟s why all our new stairlifts come with not only a 2 year warranty, but also 2 free services.
2.
Insist on your stairlift being made to measure Staircases come in all shapes and sizes, so it is very difficult to find a stairlift that will fit your home perfectly, unless it‟s made to measure. That‟s why at Stannah we always take the exact measurements of your staircase as well as taking your measurements to ensure that our product is right for both you and your home.
3.
Don‟t buy one from a brochure Insist on trying a stairlift before you buy. It‟s hard to tell how comfortable a stairlift is from a brochure. We‟ve placed a Stannah stairlift in the Able Access showroom. This means that you can take one for a test run before having one fitted in your home.
5.
Remote control Allows you to call the stairlift to you or send it to someone at the top or bottom of the staircase. Keyswitch Can be used to completely immobilise the stairlift, ideal if children are around. Adjustable seat height for personal comfort and ease getting off the seat. Retractable seatbelt Will fully secure you in the chair.
Insist on a 24 hour call-out service We understand how important stairlifts are to people, that‟s why we like to use our own regional engineers so in the unlikely event of something going wrong with your Stannah stairlift, we can reach you as fast as possible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
4.
Some Benefits of our Stairlifts
Insist on a 14-day money back guarantee Every new Stannah stairlift comes with a 14-day money back guarantee, so if for some reason you are not completely happy after the installation, we will give you a full refund.
Safety sensors Sensors on the chair mean it stops automatically if it meets an obstruction Easy-to-use control Just requires your hand to move it left or right, depending on the direction you want to go, so it‟s easy to use.
