Merseyflex makes big move a Specialist hose and Fittings manufacturing Merseyflex has moved its entire operation under one roof in time for its 25th anniversary. Merseyflex, which now employs 28 people, Operates nationally and internationally across a range of markets, Will focus on continued growth from its new home. The investment and commitment to date of £££££££ and will continue into 2017 Since it was established in 1992 by father and son, Russ and Andy Cotterill, Merseyflex has enjoyed solid growth. Both still play a a large daily part in managing the company. Over time, the Business has outgrown its original premises on Mason Street.
Which had continued to be the base of operations up until 2016. The decision was taken to make a considerable Investment to relocate and the search began early 2015
Objective : All operations to a brand new, purpose built premises. With ongoing recent investment in the Liverpool city region, Venture Point in Speke proved to have the capacity to house the entire business under one roof once more. Working with developers to build a bespoke building to meet the needs of a growing business. This was the ideal opportunity to take the business forward. Planning began late 2015 This would help to future proof the growth of the business and improve efficiencies and reduces costs to enable a quality service at a competitive cost to continue. Also as a responsible business the reduction in carbon footprint was also an objective.
