Greetings Stroud Citizens, February 2025
Thank you very much for participating in your visions for Foster Park. We had over 300 surveys turned in. We will take those surveys and use them to help us with the directions and additions we want to take on the Grant we are applying for this week. We are fortunate to have Leslie Wilbourn helping us with these grants.

We were scheduled to have the installation of the first 2 neon signs this week. This was because the entrance signs needed concrete pads, so we had to postpone them because of the weather that is expected. I have seen designs of a lot of our signs, and I know you are going to love them! I would like to update you on a few of the projects that are going on. We are working with the Department of Wildlife on restocking the fish in the pond at Foster Park. We are beginning construction of the equestrian trails and campsites on the Boy Scout side of the lake.
We are cleaning up property on the West side of town on Highway 66. The Turnpike is full speed ahead with the Midway Plaza construction and lane adjustment. The landscape changes almost daily. We will have another survey for you to participate in and help us with coming up next month.
We have a Legislative breakfast Friday February 14 from 8-9 at the commons area of the High School and our annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet is March 11 at 6:30. See you there. Don’t forget your Valentines this week.
