Stillwater Steel and Welding Supply have been serving the Stillwater and surrounding communities since 1985. Tisha and Joe Wilson acquired the business in 2005 after Tisha had worked there for a year before they decided to take the reins. In a business that is driven by the Oil & Gas Industry, Tisha does not feel like any day is a struggle with the support of their amazing staff and the local community. Tisha has made her community a priority and says when you support your community, they will support you back. Not only do they organize the Stillwater Free Community Christmas Dinner, but they help the local FFA and volunteer to help with just about anything the school needs.

Tisha Gushed about her work family and how they go the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service. She loves working side by side with employees and when asked about the best part of her business she bragged that her customers are the best part of her day. Most Oklahoma women that own and operate their own business know it takes heart and grit and Tisha explained that grit helps her keep pushing to the next peak. Great qualities for business mature over time. Tisha says, with good leadership, a great team, and plenty of confidence we can develop a relationship with our customers that encourages great customer service. Her advice for the next generation of women in business is to find a business that you are passionate about. If you love what you do, you will work harder for it and your dedication will show in your work. As for how Tisha does it all, she says it evolves over time and you get better at juggling and it flows better as you go. Tisha and Joe’s children are now 20 and 23, so she knows something about juggling work and family life. Tisha does it all with grace and modesty swears her team is what makes the wheels turn and she is just along for the ride. Stillwater Steel and Supply is more than metal supplies, it is a family that helps its community.
