WATER/ WASTEWATER OPERATOR The City of Pawnee is accepting applications for Water/ Wastewater Operator. Duties include, but not limited to, operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of the water and wastewater treatment plants, collection and distribution systems, wells and booster pump stations. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work from ladders, and in confined spaces as well as extreme heights, and in ditches. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and in emergencies, as well as, extreme weather conditions. Must be able to work as an “on call” operator after training period is complete. Must be able to wear a respirator and or an S.C.B.A.

The City of Pawnee will provide the employee uniforms, equipment, vehicle, training and any other items needed to successfully perform the requirements of Animal Control Officer. Preferred skills and traits: Computer proficiency, familiarity with MS Office, communication and public speaking skills, willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team.
