Celebrating Oklahoma’s Women In Business Oklahoma's Choice Weekly

We want to celebrate our first year of Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly by introducing our very own Women in Business. When Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly was only a thought, we were each asked to take a leap of faith and come on-board. Was joining a new business during the uncertainty of a pandemic a big risk? Of course! But it was a risk worth taking.

General Manager, Sue McQuillen was raised in Drumright and chose to raise her 3 children in her beloved hometown, passing-on the love of small towns. She enjoys house plants and spending time with her 3 amazing grandchildren. Sue coordinates the daily, weekly, and monthly activities for the paper, special inserts, and magazines we create. Sue says, “I am so proud to be a part of this group and very much look forward to a successful 2nd year of service to Oklahoma!”

Graphics Director, Anesa K. Chastain Jones is a mother of 2 children and twin granddaughters. She enjoys every moment with them. Anesa is the real magician on staff, she builds gorgeous papers out of thin air, outperforming herself each week. With 20 years of graphic design experience, she works closely with our sales staff and customers to create the perfect advertising campaign for each. Oklahoma’s Choice weekly allows her the freedom to use her creativity, giving each customer her expert eye to detail.

Accounting, Wendi Stultz is a mom of 3 determined & spirited children. Wendi lives for the weekend, from camping, hiking, to her kid’s ball games. Wendi loves crunching numbers and being able to help customers, which is why she is perfect for the head of accounting and classifieds. Wendi says “I am thankful and proud to work for a small Oklahoma-based paper. The employees care about and value the customers.” Her favorite part of her duties would be accounting and helping customers.

Distribution & Digital Director, Misty Crouse is a mother of 2 children, enjoys gardening, camping, and baking. Misty manages our drivers and distribution. “I actually fell into managing drivers and I loved the drivers, they became family. Our drivers do the hard work and I just support them, help make everything as easy as possible for them.” Misty explained Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly is a big family that works together and supports each other. Having the flexibility to be there for my children, and not have to choose between them and work is a big comfort.

Here at Oklahoma’s Choice weekly we believe in Oklahoma, and that means believing in Oklahoma women. Each woman on our team brings something different to the table, our diversity is our strength, our Customer service is the Oklahoma Standard.
