It's Our Anniversary

Two years ago, we introduced you to the initial edition of Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly, your new shopper-style publication. Many said that starting a print publication at any time, especially in the middle of a pandemic, was not wise. Those naysayers just didn’t have the faith and confidence in Oklahoma’s businesses that we had and still do.

In the two years since our inception, we haven’t lost sight of what we are and who we serve. Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly mainly serves the farm, ranch and rural communities of Oklahoma, from Kingfisher to West Tulsa and from the Oklahoma-Kansas border to Holdenville. We felt at the start, and still do today, that rural communities and rural businesses were being overlooked and being charged too much for advertising. That they are forgotten and ignored in the important role they play in making sure that Oklahoma’s small and rural towns and villages have a healthy retail sector to serve the people. Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly has made sure that no one is overlooked or ignored anymore and that we can bring economical advertising opportunities to every area of the state, through our print publication and our excellent website.

We listen and learn from our customers. They have taught us that hard work, honesty and integrity are the proper way to run a business. We watch as our customers put their hearts and souls into their business every day. We remain proud of the product we distribute every Wednesday and especially proud when our customers tell us that Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly has had a positive impact on their bottom line.

We know we face challenges as we enter our third year. From new outbreaks of COVID to inflationary concerns, Oklahoma’s businesses and Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly will work closely together to make sure our agricultural and rural communities continue to be well served.

The start of year three brings our thanks for allowing us to serve you, whether you buy a display ad, place a classified ad or one of our thousands of readers picking us up. Our focus is helping the businesses of Oklahoma with affordable, reliable and effective marketing options. Our #1 goal is to connect people together who want to do business. That was our goal in our first two years and remains our goal in our third year.
