47th Annual Wewoka Sorghum Festival!

We are officially 1 month away from the 47th annual Wewoka Sorghum Festival! This all outdoor event spans eight city blocks on Wewoka Ave. here in Wewoka, OK. Here are a few highlights of the day:

• John Lively 5k Run: Start time - 8:00 a.m.

• Car Show from Park St to 1st

• Parade going North to South on Wewoka Ave Beginning at 10:00 a.m.

• Vendors from First to Fifth St, with Food Alley on 2nd, Kids Alley on 3rd, as well as a Native Market on the north end on Wewoka Ave. next to the Wewoka Switch

• Live music near 2nd street starting at 11:00 a.m. with performances by “The Switch”, “Everfade” and “Shawna Russell Band”.

• Art & Photography Show and Quilt Show located in the Diebler Building on 1st Street

• Activities and Demonstrations throughout the day on the Seminole Nation Museum grounds
