3. Apply firs application of A&M Greenlawn Plus (17-55) fer tilizer at the rate of 5$ per 1,000 square f t. This product has added .5% zinc, 2% iron and 5% sulfer. (Zinc aids in plant grow th. Iron gives lawns the rich dark green color.)

4. De -thatch lawn or scalp in mid- April.

5. Apply Permethrin, Deltamethrin, or Bifenthrin for fleas and ticks.

6. In April-May and July- August, apply Merit or Grub beater for season long control of grub worms.

April May: 7. Star t spraying weeds or apply weed and feed fer tilizer

Aug 1st: 12. Apply A&M Greenlawn Plus (17-5-5) fer tilizer at 5# per 1,000 square ft

Sept 1st-15th: 13. Apply pre -emergent that contains Surflan (helps control sandburs), Prodiamine, Pendulum, or XL-2 G Balan Surflan to control wild blue grass, henbit, chickweed and dandelions. You cannot use if you are going to over seed.

Oct-Dec: 14. Winterize the lawn with a high phosphate fer tilizer such as 9-24-24 plus iron at 10# per 1,000 square ft 15 Apply Round-Up (41% Glyphosate) in December if you have a weed or cool season grass problem. y
