It’s time for a little Football! I’m also ready for a little football weather. Let’s make it a point to support our athletes. Go Tigers!

The lake was busy last weekend with Hot boat races. The next event at the lake will be the Disc Golf Tournament on October 29th. We are still working on a new boat dock on the East Side of the lake and waiting on the go ahead for the equestrian grant. The lake ranger is thinking about offering Kayak rental at the lake. Good things are happening at the lake. It’s only September and you may think it’s too early to think about Christmas. All the towns along Route 66 from Edmond to Sapulpa are celebrating a special Christmas Celebration with different themes for each town. Stroud’s theme is “The Illuminated Elf”. We have already begun planning and organizing activities. We plan on a huge celebration and tree lighting to kick off the festivities November 17.

City-wide clean-up is scheduled for October 16-20. Please plan to take advantage of this opportunity.
