Events At Pawnee Bill Ranch & Museum
Make-and-Take Greeting Card workshop with Martha Ray• September 23, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host a greeting card class on Saturday, September 23, from 1 to 5 p.m. The instructor is Martha Ray. Participants will learn the history of greeting cards before making at least four finished cards to take-home, along with additional supplies to make more. The class is designed for ages 10 and up. It is limited to 15 people. The cost is $20 for members of the Oklahoma Historical Society or Pawnee Bill Ranch Association. Nonmembers will pay $25. Participants need to bring their own pair of scissors. Everything else will be provided. You must reserve a spot in advance by calling 918-762-2523. Annual Quilt Show opens October 1
Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum will host its annual Quilt Show during the month of October, featuring heirloom and modern quilts from across the state. Cimarron Valley Quilt Guild and Pawnee Bill Quilt Guild members are instrumental in putting together this yearly event. The show opens on Sunday, October 1, and closes on Sunday, October 29 There is no charge to view the Quilt Show, which is available to visitors during regular hours of operation. Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. For more information about the Quilt Show or other programs, please call 918-762-2513 or email pawneebill@histor y.ok.gov. Ghost Stories Candlelight Tours • October 28, 6:30 p.m.–9 p.m.
Visit the Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum for Pawnee Bill Ghost Stories Candlelight Tours on Saturday, October 28, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Guides will lead guests through outdoor tours in the park telling spine-tingling, ghostly tales about Oklahoma, the surrounding area, and the Pawnee Bill Ranch. Tours leave every 30 minutes from the museum building, so bundle up for cool weather. Admission is $5 per person, and the event is for ages eight and older.
