Greetings from Stroud,

Our sidewalk project designed to keep people safe going to the shopping center is moving right along. The groundwork has been laid and pouring concrete will begin this week. We hope to be ﬁnished within the next month. It has been a long time coming but we’re starting to see the ﬁnish line.

If you have been by the Stroud Airport lately you may have no seen a new set of hangars being built. This will give us 2 large hangars for businesses and 16 hangars for small planes. This is just another example of growth going on at Stroud.

Lastly, OTA will start our service road along the North side of the turnpike from Old Stroud Road to Highway 99. This mile stretch will serve as a route to the North side of the Turnpike while bridge construction would cut those oﬀ from the city. This will later serve as possible commercial property visible from the thousands of daily turnpike travelers. Events this month in Stroud include Main Street trick or treat October 31st from 4:00 to 6:00 and Eagle Valley Disc Golf tournament October 28th and 29th. We are still working on the Midpoint Christmas Celebration. Our theme is the “Illuminated Elf”. Come celebrate with us!
