Happy 4th of July
We live in a wonderful country and wonderful state. To Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly, the greatness of our country is reflected in our people. We’re honored that we get to serve those people every day and we reap the rewards of our contact with them. From the Mom and Pop businesses that dot Main Street to the farmers and ranchers that feed us, America and Oklahoma are our home. And it remains the optimism of our citizens that drives us to serve rural, farm and ranch Oklahoma.
From the day we started this publication in the midst of the pandemic, we were faced with the same obstacles and fears that everyone faces when they start a new business. And like our country, we look forward. Our country faces problems. There’s never been a time it hasn’t. Inflation, low commodity prices, high energy costs and general uncertainty have a negative impact. Yet as we serve central Oklahoma, we continue to sense the feeling that working together, there isn’t anything we can’t achieve. As we travel from Kingfisher to Tulsa and from the Kansas/Oklahoma border to Seminole and Holdenville, we are greeted with smiles, handshakes and enthusiasm for the future.

This 4th of July we give thanks to those that have served our country, our health care workers and first responders who are always there for us. Our teachers who take on the responsibility of helping guide our children in school. Our rural business men and women who provide the backbone for Oklahoma’s economy. And our farmers and ranchers who grow the food to feed us and the world.
It has been and remains an honor for Oklahoma’s Choice Weekly to serve our customers and our readers, and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable 4th of July.
