Welcome to Stroud! V5I32

Greetings Stroud Citizens,

Who doesn’t love a great parade? Thank you to everyone who had an entry in our Christmas Parade. Don’t miss the reindeer visit, photo ops, and hayrides downtown on December 18th. This is a great opportunity for making memories and bringing families together. If your schedule allows enjoy the celebrations of other towns along the Midpoint Corridor from Edmond to Sapulpa this Holiday Season too..

Courtney Lyon and Courtney Cornett are two very talented young ladies that have worked tirelessly painting windows on MainStreet to transform the town into an Elf Wonderland. Thank you, Great job! Thank you to the City Staff for your dedication and hard work making the town so bright and festive. Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce and Volunteers for all your organization and Pavilion decorations. It’s amazing how great our Mainstreet looks!

The true meaning of Christmas is never more evident than it is in a small town like Stroud. As we approach this Holiday Season, let’s take time to reflect on the things that truly mean the most to us. We are a very Blessed town and people and sometimes it’s easy to take that for granted. Please take this time to share the hope and joy that Christmas brings with your family, friends, and neighbors.

On behalf of myself and the City of Stroud, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Bob Pearman, City Manager
