A VISIT TO DIVA
MUSEUM
SPARKLES
MUSEUM ROUTE
Start your museum visit on the second floor. Continue your visit and go down. You pass through 7 halls. You can recognise the route on this floor plan by the same diamonds on the floor.
ARE YOU VISITING THE MUSEUM WITH CHILDREN?
Ask for the children’s trail at the info desk: ‘Out and about with Ekster’. Children 7 years and up can explore the exhibition with (their group and) Ekster. Along the way, you will solve search and activity puzzles. Have fun!
Leave food and drinks in the lockers. These are not allowed in the museum.
Our rooms are dark to protect the objects from light and to make the diamonds sparkle.
Welcome to DIVA, the museum that sparkles!
DO AN AUDIO WALK
Take an audio guide in the entrance hall and scan your language there. In the halls, scan the ear icons near the objects to listen to the stories. At the interactive screens, you can scan the ear icons to listen to the audio for the films. Please note: select the film first and then scan the ear icon.
The hearing impaired can scan the QR code below with their mobile phone to stream the audio stories via Bluetooth to the hearing aid, CI or middle ear implant. Or ask an induction loop at the front desk to listen to the audio stories via the audio guide activating the T setting of your hearing aid.
WORKSHOP OR TOUR
Sign in at the info desk. Our colleagues will be happy to help you.
OBJECT INFORMATION
Do you want to know what the name of an object is, what period it is from and what its origin is? Scan the QR code and find the correct object number. You can find the QR code with the intro text for each room.
ACCESSIBILITY
Ask about our accessible offerings at the info desk. We have at our disposal, among other things, a visual step-by-step guide to visiting the museum, tactile objects, an induction loop, headphones ... Also ask about our tailored tours.
