Let’s Meet Them Robin Stone is The Dishing Diva! Robin is a G.R.I.T.S: Girl Raised in the South. She was born ‘out west’ but got here as fast as she could! For 30 years, Robin worked her way up the corporate ladder, fell down a few times (ok, lots of times) and crawled back up again. She gave her soul to Corporate America and they kept wanting more. Eventually, fearing her soul was never going to return, she left the world of cubbies and went on the road... where she belonged the entire time. She lives in a tiny town in the foothills of North Carolina,

Marva has become a voice against domestic violence as she has been afforded the opportunity to speak at conferences, workshops, agencies, community centers, churches as well as other venues. Marva has served in the Pastorate for over ten years now in the city of Greensboro N.C. Her greatest joy is her family and the work she continues to serve in ministry.

the motto is “I speak life”. Lady Knotts humbly puts her title aside as a “First Lady” and passionately and effectively accepts the call to be a servant to one of the greatest woman leaders of this decade. Together with Pastor Knotts, First Lady has three beautiful children. Most importantly, Lady Knotts finds joy in building God’s Kingdom. Pastor Angeline Jenkins Wall, affectionately known to her family, church, and close friends as “Lady Wall, Ann, Angie, Granny, and Sista, married her high school sweetheart, Clarence Roland Wall. Together they birthed three beautiful children.
Pastor Wall has devoted over thirty years of service in her
husband’s ministry. As First Lady of Elon First Baptist Church for over twenty years, she was the founder and advisor of the C.R. Wall Ensemble, re-established the Youth Ushers Ministry. She was also the founder and advisor for the Nurse’s Ministry. Pastor has been participant and volunteer in her community and her Alma Mater, Dudley High School. Even through the transitioning of ministries, Lady Wall continued to stand by her husband and the ministry with her hard work and drive. Under the Greater Hope Cathedral Ministry, Pastor established the Children’s Church, the Nurses Ministry, and lead of the Angels of Hope Team. She has also received two certifications in Minority Business Development Phase I and II through the NC A&T State

Pastor Angeline Wall’s mission is the “Be about God’s Business,” and her objective in ministry is to help build the Kingdom through mentoring the youth, which is our next generation and to be there to push and assist in the manifestation of her husband’s vision. She is very strong, assertive, and goal oriented. Whatever she sets her mind to doing; she works hard and lets nothing stop her from attaining her goals.

EYE ON IT 10 things a woman needs to be a 1st Lady and obtain her own identity by Robin Stone 1. Faith – in something. Whatever it is, have FAITH in something because everyone needs something to believe in. 2. Grace –(Simple elegance or refinement of movement) Sometimes we need the grace to deal with all the hard things in life. They aren’t easy and they aren’t going to go away, so you have to learn how to deal with them with grace. There’s no benefit in going crazy every time something bad happens. Deal with it with Grace, learn from it and move on. 3. Her own bank account – and money in the bank. You never know when you might have to bail a friend out of jail, buy a pair of shoes because they are THE shoes to have or leave in the middle of the night for your safety. Having money in the bank allows you to make those decisions yourself without relying on anyone else. 4. Freedom from people who tell you no. Freedom from people who tell you “you can’t”. Freedom to do what you are called to do, what drives you and what you are passionate about. 5. Confidence. The ability to go into any room anywhere and ask for what you want. 6. Knowledge. You need to know how the world works. You need to know how you work. You need to know how to change a flat tire, order dinner from room service and when to take a sick child to the doctor. You should surround yourself with people that have the knowledge you want and learn from them, soak up their words and then turn those words into something you need. 7. Support System. Friends, family, soul mates. People that support you no matter what you are doing and tell you if it’s a good idea or not. If it’s not family, then don’t keep trying to make them your support system, find another one. You need to have someone that you can call and say, “Hey, tell me if this is a good idea.” 8. Music that you love and can dance to by yourself. Music makes me smile, it brings me joy, and reminds me of good memories. You have a special song that sings to your heart and soul….don’t let someone take that away because they like a different kind of music, think it’s a stupid song or don’t like the way you sing it. Sing it anyway. 9. A good self-image. You’ll never look like you want to look. You’ll never be the perfect size you think you should be. Love yourself and accept who you are. You are a combination of your parents and your ancestors. There’s not another single person just like you, so rejoice in being unique and special and know that you’re the best you can be. 10. Humor. If you can laugh at the worst times of your life, then you’ll be just fine. You have to find the humor in everyday life, and enjoy the small moments so when the hard times hit, you’ll be able to smile through it.
