At a young age, I always knew I had a sense of style and design. As I grew older, I found myself very much intrigued with weddings, social events, and private parties. I attended Milwaukee Area Technical College, where I majored in Business Administration & Communications. In the meantime, I attended weddings, private parties, social events, and conferences where I did gained a lot of knowledge for these type of events. I also coordinated some events as well, and in doing so, I gained a small customer base, however, I was still unclear of what I really wanted to do because my mind was so far away from event planning‌crazy huh. I then relocated to the good old sunshine state of Florida. In being there for a while I found myself planning weddings, private parties, and social events. Since 2004, I have been working as an event planner for many of my clients in the Wisconsin and Florida areas. And now has given me the opportunity to bring my love for events to life here in North Carolina.

It was at this point is when I started to realized my steps were being ordered by God and it was time for me to walk in my destiny. With years of experience in business planning and my passion for design and people, becoming an event planner was the next logical step. I formed Destined 4 Greatness, LLC in 2011, and I thank God for him allowing me to be a business owner. Since I was a little girl, and even now, Hebrews 11:1 has always been my favorite scripture. I live, eat, and drink faith. Walking in faith is definitely what got me here today. I am quickly becoming known for my creativity and passion for details. I believe every client deserves to express their personality into every aspect of their event. I will ensure that a couples vision comes to life when your family and friends walk into your event and see your unique personality through all of the magnificent details. Speak a Word from the Editor Raise Your Expectation Let me speak words of life to you. Hear me and listen close. I am in a season where the buck stops here. I have so many people who believe in me but sometime I neglect to believe in myself. Yes, I have accomplished some things in life and I am very proud of that but there is so much more. Many times I can help others meet their goals while I push my goals to the back burner. If you use your energy, time, and talent for someone else business or ministry and you don’t use your gift to better yourself and your ministry. Then you have neglected the greatest gift God has given you which is yourself. Please stop neglecting the greatest gift God has created which is you. If I am in this season I know someone reading this newsletter is in this season as well. If you are in this season, I would love to hear from you and connect with you and make an agreement that you will use your gift for you. I just want to stand in agreement with you simply email me at Deloris@divineconnections.info and share with me how you will use your gift for you. I look forward to connecting with you and standing in agreement with you. Who said you can’t? Take that word out your vocabulary. It’s simple; if you believe it you can receive it and know that the manual says, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me.” (Philippians 4:13). What are you expecting God to do in your life? Correction what are you going to do with your life? Do you have expectations of yourself? Well here is a side note, expect greater out of yourself and then commit to participating in your own success. Don’t ever let life, situations, or people stop or lower your expectations. But, you first have to have an exceeding expectation for yourself. As a believer, we know that we serve a limitless God therefore, we are limitless people. So, I encourage you and myself to expect greater everyday. Expect greater faith, greater love, greater anointing, greater connections, greater power, and greater relationships. “For greater is he that is in you then he that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4).
