Da quasi due secoli i tappeti pregiati sono l’attività per tradizione e la passione della nostra famiglia. Dal lontano bazar di Tehran iniziavano i lunghi viaggi attraverso la Persia ed il Caucaso alla ricerca di tappeti straordinari. Con il trascorrere del tempo la nostra ricerca di opere rare e di alta qualità si è estesa dalla Persia verso i mercati internazionali. Dal 1994, con l’evolversi degli stili di vita, abbiamo deciso di estendere la nostra esperienza alla creazione di Collezioni esclusive di tappeti contemporanei. For almost two centuries, prestigious carpets have been our business thanks to our family’s tradition and passion. From the far away bazaar of Tehran, there began long journeys throughout Persia and the Caucasus in search of extraordinary rugs. Over time, our search for rare, high quality pieces carried over to the international markets. As lifestyles have evolved, we decided in 1994 to extend our experience to the creation of exclusive Collections of contemporary rugs.

Nella lussuosa cornice del Quadrilatero della Moda di Milano, il Brand Sahrai presenta le sue 6 Collezioni dedicando ad ognuna di esse uno spazio che ne conservi carattere e stile. Proprio come se si seguisse la mappa di un viaggio, le diverse Creazioni ci danno la sensazione dello spostamento e lasciano, tuttavia, invariato l’aspetto della preziosità e della ricercatezza nel Design che Sahrai mette nelle sue Collezioni. La Heritage Antique Collection racchiude un’importante selezione di tappeti antichi riconosciuta a livello internazionale e destinata ad appassionati e collezionisti. L’itinerario prosegue con la Collezione Noor che esprime il concetto di lusso nel rigore del Design Italiano contemporaneo e Taj Mahal che ricalca gli sfarzi dei macrodisegni indiani in una visione contemporanea dei colori, passando attraverso la collezione Parsa che ingloba la ricchezza della tradizione Persiana anch’essa rivista in una chiave contemporanea. Place Vendôme è la collezione di ispirazione Francese sapientemente rieditata nei colori e nelle forme moderne che esalta lusso e lavorazioni fini come gli antichi legni cesellati delle corti Napoleoniche. La Collezione Milano arricchisce il portfolio creativo di Sahrai combinando disegni contemporanei e nuove tecniche di realizzazione. Infine le soluzioni di floor covering dedicate al mondo del contract di lusso, caratterizzate da un’eccellente qualità e dalla consueta attenzione del brand per l’eleganza delle proprie creazioni. In the luxurious setting of Milan’s Fashion District, the brand Sahrai presents six Collections of handknotted Rugs, dedicating to each Collection a space that preserves its character and style. In this way it seems to follow the map of a journey; the different Creations give the feeling of changing place, preserving value and sophistication of Design that Sahrai puts in its Collections. The Heritage Antique Collection is an important selection of antique internationally recognized rugs intended for rug lovers and collectors. The route continues with the Noor Collection that expresses the concept of Luxury within contemporary Italian Design onward to Taj Mahal with its magnificent Indian patterns revisited with the modern palette of colors, through the Parsa Collection that incorporates the richness of Persian Tradition under a contemporary point of view. Place Vendôme is a French inspired Collection reviewed in colors and modern shapes which enhance luxury and fine work, resembling a curved furniture of the Napoleonic period. The Milano Collection enhances the Sahrai creative portfolio combining contemporary designs and innovative production techniques. In addition the floor covering solutions dedicated to the contract world, characterized by excellent quality and sophisticated designs.

Lo studio interno di progettazione Sahrai segue tutte le fasi di avanzamento di ogni progetto, sia esso la reinterpretazione di un modello in collezione o un pezzo unico: dal disegno iniziale alla scelta dei materiali, dalla creazione di un prototipo fino alla realizzazione finale, tutti i passaggi sono sottoposti a rigorosi controlli qualitativi. Il Design Studio, oltre alla progettazione delle esclusive collezioni, offre il servizio Custom Made, che permette di personalizzare misure e disegni e di scegliere tra la vastissima gamma di gradazioni di colore di cui Sahrai dispone. Inoltre, attraverso la tecnica del rendering, il Design Studio è in grado di proporre diverse soluzioni di ambientazione e di renderle realistiche. The Sahrai in-house Design Studio follows all the phases of the project, whether a re-edition of a collection model or a one-of-a-kind piece: from the initial design, to the choice of textures, to the creation of a prototype up to the end product, all the different stages undergo stringent quality controls. In addition it offers a CustomMade service in order to personalize rugs in terms of design, dimensions and color combination. The rendering technique used by the Design Studio enables to view the rugs in the customer’s interior.

UNDERWATERLIFE Una LIMITED EDITION di creazioni dedicate a Yacht e residenze estive. Gli elementi marini sui fondi neutri delle tonalità della sabbia sono il tema portante della collezione. Coralli, corde e polipi stilizzati decorano preziose superfici annodate in lana, lino e seta. Le corde diventano gioielli che si adagiano sul manto fine e friabile della sabbia, i coralli creano mappe marine, splendidi ritratti come su una tela d’artista che interpreta la natura dei fondali marini e la trasforma in suggestione. A LIMITED EDITION of creations dedicated to Yachts and Summer Residences. The main theme of the collection is the under water world elements designed on neutral colors backgrounds. Corals, octopus and stylized strings decorates precious handknotted surfaces in wool, linen and silk. The strings becomes jewels which rest on the mantle of fine and crumbly sand, corals creates sea maps. Beautiful portraits as on the canvas of an artist who transform the nature of the seabed and turns it into beauty.
