Expanding Your Connections: School ASB: Kiwanis:

-It is important to understand that ASB is a resource for you. -Establish a strong connection with your school’s leadership so you can use their resources to promote your club.

-Attend your local Kiwanis meetings. Kiwanians are the backbone of this organization and are willing to support you in any way possible!

Division:

-Meet other schools within your division and communicate with the LTG and presidents within your area.

District:

-Meet other schools around the Pacific Northwest District, this way you can learn from other clubs and incorporate their ideas towards your club.

Building a Strong Foundation:

Kiwanis:

-Setting a strong foundation within your club, school, communities and local sponsoring Kiwanis Club will ultimately enable you to prosper to your highest potential. Your club will be able to reach greater heights once you set a strong foundation.

-Attending your local Kiwanis meetings will make a great impression on your club, and help you get the resources and materials you need!

School:

-Meet with ASB or communicate with the leadership advisor. -See if you can use ASB or school materials to make posters and to advertise.

Community:

-Volunteer at more events, and see if any companies or organizations is willing to sponsor your club with materials or food parties!

Ideas for the Summer:

-Joint Service Projects are a great way to build a relationship with members and clubs that are all about service! -Intersocials are great for clubs that are socially active and want to meet new people through a movie night or a beach party! -Joint Summer Key Club Meetings are a great way for members to meet other people from different schools. -Personal Invitations in the beginning of the school year helps students feel welcomed and included, which also helps spread the word about Key Club. -Big Key Club Poster helps promote Key Club throughout your entire school -Incentives make students and Key Clubbers want to come out more to events or meetings! -Buddy System helps bring students and friends out to Key Club. -Ice Cream Social everyone loves the famous frozen custard dessert, why not give it out at your first meeting of the year to celebrate?
