’ Hello Pacific Northwest District Key Clubbers,

My name is Juliet Yu and I’m your 2016-2017 District Governor. I am both honored and thrilled to serve alongside the PNW District Board and with caring leaders like you! Being apart of Key Club has been one of the best experiences in my life and I can’t wait to continue this in our Pacific Northwest District! For our journey together, I truly believe this year will be one of the greatest the Pacific Northwest District has ever seen. By taking the steps of Service, Unity and a Kiwanis Family plan, we will see the heart of Key Club, connection of our district, and reminders of our past/inspirations for our future. One of my mottos in life is “We over Me.” We together are equals in creating an impact and change for this year and beyond. It’s not about me, myself or I. We are all Key Clubbers with passion of calling Key Club our adventure. So please feel free to message me anytime via email, Facebook message or phone on any questions you have or if you want to talk. In love and service, Juliet Yu Pacific Northwest District Governor Key Club International (253) 218-5979 julietyu.pnwgov@gmail.com

Hey Pacific Northwest District Key Clubbers! My name is Bryan Lee and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve you as your District Treasurer for the 201617 term. My goal this year is to serve and increase connection with Lieutenant Governors and you, the members. Through my quarterly Treasurer newsletters, I hope to provide you the opportunity to learn and engage with the District. Similarly, I look to increase contact with your Lt.Gs to ensure they have the information necessary to help you. Throughout these past 3 years, I have had the opportunity to personally serve at every level in Key Club up to the District, and one message that has never lost strength is the importance of assisting the members. If you have any questions this year, don’t hesitate to contact me: I’m still a Key Club member like you, and I’m only a message away. In Caring and Service, Bryan Lee Pacific Northwest District Treasurer Key Club International bryanlee.pnwtreasurer@gmail.com (971) 258-7236

Hello PNW!

My name is Audrey Chow and I am your 2016 - 2017 District Editor. As an avid Key Clubber and a bit of a Photoshop geek, I am beyond excited to serve in a

position where I am able to capture and curate your hard work in our district newsletter, THE ESPRESSO. I plan on publishing four seasonal publications during my term, in addition to making divisional newsletters more accessible for the rest of the district. With the

spirit and eagerness to serve still buzzing from DCON, am confident that great days are ahead of us. Work together, lend a hand where you can, and show the world that you are “Proud ‘N’ Willing to Serve!” Also, if you ever need help or you just want to talk, don’t be afraid to say hello. Especially you, bulletin editors! In Service and Compassion, Audrey Chow Pacific Northwest District Editor Key Club International

’ Greetings Pacific Northwest District, I'm Amy Hung and I will be your Convention Chair for the 2016-2017 service year. Through my experiences, I plan to make DCON 2017 an even greater DCON than the year before. A goal of mine for Convention is to increase attendance and to strengthen workshops for all attendees. From serving as a member, club officer, Convention Aide, and now Convention Chair, I have learned that us Key Clubbers, all have the same objective. We all work together to make a difference in our home, schools, and communities. Like the great Troy Bolton once said, “we’re all in this together!” If you have questions about this upcoming District Convention, please feel free to contact me through Facebook, text, call, or email! Hey Unicorns! I am very honored to say that I will be serving as Division 26's Executive Assistant! This is such an honor since I get to connect and work closer with all of you in our division and really get to know each of you. Some goals I would like to accomplish for this year are to strengthen clubs through community involvement and to establish stronger bonds between the schools within our division. I plan on working closely with our Lt. Governor and all of the schools in Division 26 to plan out divisional service projects and social hangouts other than Division Council Meetings to strengthen our bonds and communication as a division and to strengthen our bonds with our communities. A little bit about me, the only country I've been to outside of the United States is Canada, I love sushi to the point where I can eat it everyday, my favorite color is royal blue and olive green, and in addition to serving this position, I'm also the President of Chief Sealth's Key Club. Thank you for always showing that Key Club Spirit and I can't wait to work with you all! Sincerely, Yana Frigillana

Greetings Unicorns! I’m thrilled to inform you that I will be serving as Division 26’s Historian! I’m so honored to be in this position, as an opportunity to improve on my photography skills and to be more involved in Key Club. For this term, some achievements I would like to accomplish is to take more pictures/videos that really capture our divisions events and other activities. Also, I want to create a YouTube channel for our division, these videos will be used to help update Key Clubbers within D26 in a visual matter! Part of my job as an Historian is to attend all DCMs and work closely with our LTG to provide him with pictures to project the inclusiveness within the newsletter aspect of Key Club. I will make sure to be available when the LTG needs me and keep in contact with the Key Club members to update them about upcoming meetings and events. When I am not serving the community, I like to film, do fun DIY’s, Vlog, watch Kdramas, and go on late night food adventures. My favorite color is orange and I have an addiction to pita chips and oranges. I’m looking forward to working with all of you! In Love and Service, Nhu Nguyen

Hi Unicorns, I'm Lucy Nguyen and I will be serving as your Divisional Growth and Reactivation Director. I'm so honored because this will be a way for me to get to know each of you (hopefully) even more and this will help me with my interactions within my community and fellow schools. Some goals I want to accomplish this term is reaching out to other schools that aren't already in our amazing division and working with them to develop a key club within their school! The more the merrier! A little about me, my all time favorite color is red! I love to travel with my friends and parents. I play lots of sports but my main sport is swimming. My favorite food is shrimp risotto and paella. My spirit animal has to be an orangutan and I swear I will one day own an orangutan even if I have to smuggle it! I amvery accident prone, I will literally trip over air and end up in the hospital and come out with crutches or something.I am also a class officer at my school which will help me with communicating with all! Thank you for your time and Ican't wait to be working with you all! Love, Lucy Nguyen

Hello hello! My name is Gina Nguyen and I am grateful to be able to serve you, Division 26, as your Fundraising Director! I am honored to take upon this position and work alongside with the rest of the Division 26 board officers. As your Fundraising Director, my job is to come up with ways to fund for our club and specifically fund for the District Convention in Oregon next year. My goal is to create as many divisional fundraisers as possible throughout the year and not just fundraisers where our goal is to collect money, but to also have fun while raising money for each other! I want the rest of Division 26 members to be able to attend DCON without money being a problem. I will do my best and give you my full commitment on making the impossible, possible! I will be working closely with the LTG about planning summer fundraising events and future events during the next school year. A few little things to know about me is that I am a very outgoing person! I love playing Volleyball every friday night when I am off season, I love hanging out with friends, I attend a Buddhist Youth Group every sunday with over 100 attendees and I enjoy going back to my old middle school to help coach the young ones in Volleyball every Spring. While being an outgoing person, I also enjoy doing the opposite; which is staying home in bed and watching movies on Netflix all day when it is my day off. I can’t wait to meet/reunite with the rest of Division 26! Don’t be afraid to say hello! (It’s me)!!! If you have any fundraising ideas you would like to share, feel free to hit me up! Either on messenger, email or text, I’m open to all ideas! Yours truly, Gina Nguyen

Division 26, Thank you for one heck of a term. Thank you for coming out to my DCMs when I thought no one wanted to go, for reading my newsletters, and for always working on bettering your homes, schools, and communities. Thank you for showing me that unicorns

are more than just some made up childhood creature and thank you for making the number 26 something to smile at even outside of Key Club. Thank you for being a record high of 476 members strong. But most of all, thank you for being my family- one that is made up of the most kind, selfless, diligent, and spirited human beings I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I don't think I could

even begin to explain how much you guys have taught me. And after all these months, I still can't believe I was lucky enough to be your papi. You guys rock and I love you. I truly hope that this past year has allowed you to learn a little more about yourself, I know it did for me. I also hope that you run off with it, wherever your endeavors may lead you next. (I'll be watching via

social media hehe) And if you ever need anything, I'm always just a text away. In love and service for the last time, Christina Nguyen Immediate Past Lieutenant Governor

Divisional Mascot: Unicorns How – We will also all be forming teams of 5 and you will perform some tasks, so wear comfortable clothing!!

Divisional Colors: Royal Blue & White

We are Division 26, also known as the Unicorns. Our division is geographically located in central/south/west Seattle, Burien, and Des Moines. We never fail to make the moment majestic and magical as a team. We are always Proud ‘N’ Willing to serve!

We will be having a picnic outside so don’t forget to bring your share of food! A miracle minute WILL be happening. The miracle minute will proceed towards our major emphasis project. The person to donate the most will be able to punish me. Also we will be decorating our spirit wand. This essentially a spirit stick, but for our division. The school that shows the most inclusiveness, intermingles within the division, shows initiative, and is the most outgoing and charismatic. They will be able to take the spirit wand back to their school and insert a note or customize the spirit wand to their liking and bring it back the next DCM.

Unicef is a charity that is active in 190 countries and more to come. They work hands on with children in the country to help overcome everyday obstacles such as poverty, discrimination, violence, and even disease

March of Dimes focuses on mothers who are in full-term pregnancies and delivering babies. They have researched genetic causes behind birth defects and have shared that knowledge to help newborns in a positive outlook A charity that has been around since 1983. Children’s Miracle Network helps hospitals in the United States and Canada. This money goes towards research and equipment. Their goal is swell and simple: To save kids’ lives

The Eliminate project is an effort to help eliminate MNT (maternal neonatal tetanus). This disease prevents the mother to be able to love and care for her child. 49,000 babies and many mothers are affected every year, but thankfully we are working on changing that. We’ve helped eliminate MNT in Madagascar, China, Cambodia, and many more. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for helping us eliminate. PNW Key Club has raised awareness through making merchandise, hosting events such as Dance to Eliminate and much more!

PNW Key Club raised 79,000$ for the eliminate project

With 1.80$ we can help save a mom and her child!

Help change somebody’s life TODAY!
