INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION C h i c a g o 2 0 1 8
Convention week in the Windy city started after we settled in arriving to the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile. Early the following morning, key clubbers from the PNW embarked on a day-long tour of Chicago. After the tour ended, opening session for ICON 2018 began. Opening session introduced candidates running for international offices and welcomed us to convention. The next day, meet and greet occurred with the partners of KCI being involved. The PNW even had a very spicy karaoke performance. Later that day, caucusing began and we were able to hear to hear the international candidates. After many questions asked by our small group -- votes were placed and results were to be announced the following morning.

The candidates were narrowed down, and during house of delegates -- were selected. Also during house of delegates, amendments were passed as well as the introduction of the new international board. Following this was the closing session of ICON where the new international board was installed and farewells were delivered. The day after was solely for touring the city and having fun. Our group visited the Willis Tower and other landmarks. Gathered from this experience was a new sense of pride of our home -- The PNW -- as well as a knowledge of key club international. Along with this, a plentiful amount of friendships began and were strengthened throughout the convention. Thank you to all who attended and supported.
