Vista Christmas Parade By Callie Warren | Mission Vista

On Saturday, December 3rd the City of Vista held their 64th Annual Christmas Parade. Through donations, Kiwanis hosted a book distribution during the parade. Mission Vista Key Club members along with other school members were able to hand out 3,500 books to children on the parade route. We all walked along the parade giving smiles and waves and handing out books from bags to all the kids. It was so exciting to see all the children's faces when handing out all the books. Our club also participated in this event last year, so it was amazing to catch up with other Kiwanis members. We had a great time and we are looking forward to working with them again.

End of Year Potluck By Daniela Vucenic| Rancho Buena Vista

On Dec 13, 2022 Rancho Buena Vista’s key club had an end of semester potluck. We have a tradition of throwing some sort of party during our lunch time meeting on the last meeting of the semester. We had delicious Costco pizza, soda, donuts, cookies, rice, chips, and juice boxes! It was so nice to celebrate a successful semester of key club together. This year we’ve had the most members yet and so many more service hours. We look forward to next semester and celebrate the relationships and fun memories we’ve made in key club so far!!
