Meet the Presidents

Hey Orcas! My name is Ceylon Wargo and I am President of Carlsbad Key Club. I am currently a junior and was Vice President last term. My goals for our club are to establish a friendly bond between the officers so that their positivity and motivation help the club grow. I’d like to do more service projects during meetings such as, goodie bags for the homeless, blankets for dogs in the shelter, and my personal favorite, coloring books for children in the hospital! I am hoping we can have the best year from all the support from members and officers!

Hello, my name is Josh Bowe-McLeod and I am the President for El Camino Key Club. Some things about me are that I live in Oceanside, although I am from Texas, (most recently at least). I spend most of my time away from school playing sports, including varsity swimming, water polo, track and field, and wrestling, my favorite AND least favorite of which would have to be wrestling - wrestlers would understand. The reason I participate in Key Club is that I care about my community and although I've been doing community service on my own for a while, how could I resist the opportunity to be part of a club that allows me to participate in community service events with my friends from school. My primary goal with Key Club is to improve myself as a person and as a leader through helping those around me.

Hey Orcas! My name is Emeline Oropeza, and I am the Key Club President of Guajome Park Academy! After discovering my love for Key Club, I decided to run for president so that hopefully I could get more of our members more involved and connected with our division as well! Some things I like doing on my free time is sketching some doodles while listening to music (especially musicals!) as well as experimenting with cooking! Another new interest I have taken up in the past year is a green thumb for gardening, particularly flowers! My goals for my club would be to bump up the member count and participation so everyone can see how cool Key Club really is!

Hullo, hullo, Orcas! I’m Jed, the President of Rancho Buena Vista Key Club. In addition to being President, I’m also your division Recognition Coordinator. I like to listen to music, read random snippets of poetry, and sing off-tune (jokingly) to randomly shuffled Spotify playlists. My goals as president is to increase membership and participation in Key Club events, whether it be the local marathon or the annual Fall Rally South. I believe that service is the number one thing our youth today should internalize because it’s fulfilling, rewarding, and fun! See ya around!

My name is Jessia Duong and I’m from the Class of 2021 and am the President of Sage Creek Key Club. I’m a bit of an introvert and a nerd so I ran for President as an attempt to, in a sense, “break out of my shell.” As President, I hope to significantly increase both membership and participation. I also want to create a friendly and welcoming environment within my own club that will allow members to have the same amazing experience I did throughout the 3 years I’ve been in Key Club. All in all, I want all my members to have a good time during service events while contributing to the community!

Hello fellow Key Clubbers, my name is Anika Hume, and I am co-president of the Tri-City Christian School club along with Jacob Larose, and Spirit Coordinator for our division. Some interesting things about me would be that I have a pet betta fish named Beans and I have been a pescatarian for over four years. I have a car named Tom and love him dearly. I currently teach piano and work at Hume & Co as an Office Administrator. My presidential goals for the 2020-2021 term are to increase TCCS's dues-paid members by at least 5% and increase TCCS's participation in Key Club events such as DCMs, Fall Rally, and hopefully even DCON.

My name is Jacob Larose and I’m the co president at Tri-City Christian School. My interests include watching sports, playing video games, and driving. My goals for Tri-City Key Club would be to bring the club together, find new opportunities for us to work together as a whole, and become more organized.

Hello Orcas! My name is Isabel Carreon. I am president of Vista Key Club and I will be a senior during the 2020-2021 term. In addition to being a President, I am also one of your Executive Assistants for service projects. Some of my interests include listening to rock music, photography, and editing photos to enhance their quality. I am also a 2nd Lieutenant Logistics Officer for this program called AFJROTC. My objectives as President are to increase the amount of devoted members, fundraise for PTP, increase attendance in DCMs, lower costs for Fall Rally and DCON, and do more service as a club. Also, being much more organized and setting smart goals!

Introductions from Army and Navy, Fallbrook, Mission Vista, North County Trade Tech, San Dieguito Academy Key Club presidents are currently unavailable. Thank you so much for reading!
