Campus clean up, school supplies drives, or helping out at freshman day at your school. I hope you all have a great last month of summer! Let me know

FAIR PARADE Are you excited for the Best Week of Summer? Do you wish you could participate in more fair activities ? Well, you can! Horse Heaven Hills Kiwanis is inviting any key clubbers to ride or walk in the fair parade! The parade kicks off fair week. Where: Meet at 9 a.m. on Dayton Street across from Kennewick High School When: Saturday, August 20th. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and will be over by noon.

LOOKING FOR SERVICE PROJECTS? Check out dosomething.org! They

host ongoing campaigns. One, School Your School, is all about learning how to spot subtle

inequalities within your school and how to take action!

JULY DCM RECAP Thank you to those who came out to support our local heroes! We made thank you cards for Kennewick, Pasco, Richland and West Richland Police Departments. We also made some candy butterflies to give with the cards!


BACK TO SCHOOL SERVICE Looking for projects or fundraisers to host with your clubs when school starts? Here’s a few ideas that are a great way to start the year! 

LOOKING FOR RECOURSES? Do you need help promoting your club? Fundraising ideas? Power point templates? Check out keyclub.org under the recourses tab! They have great tools to use. They have things like official key club colors, logos, templates for club newsletters, power points, news releases. They even have recruitment posters that are customizable to hang up in your school! There’s also fundraising and project ideas throughout the website.
