A LETTER FROM YOUR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR Dear Division 54, The Lieutenant Governor election is less than a week away and I’m excited to see who will lead our division in the 2017-2018 term. DCM RECAP The December DCM was held at Richland Library, where we made 4 no sew blankets for My Friend’s Place. If you were unable to make it but still would like to make blankets for a charity, see the instructions below.


CLUB SPOTLIGHT: DELTA This month’s club spotlight is Delta Key Club. They were the first to send in their secretary report as well as editor photos! They’ve been busy fundraising for DCON with hot coco sales, as well as several service projects! They’ll be selling Valentine Grams in February and having pen pals with local elementary students!

DISTRICT CONVENTION Have you started fundraising for DCON yet? It’s not too late to start! If you haven’t filled out the registration yet, you can find it at the pwnkeyclub.org website under the “DCON” tab. There’s also the awards registration and more information about DCON 2017, as well as the call to convention video. All registration materials must be postmarked by February 1st, 2017. My goal is to take at least 70 students from Division 54 to DCON! Everyone going is highly encouraged to buy a divisional shirt, and will have an option to buy spirit gear. The forms for ordering will be sent out soon, and the ordered shirts and spirit gear will be passed out at the March DCM.

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS Graduating seniors! Want some help paying for college? There’s several scholarships available from the Pacific Northwest District and Key Club International. All seven of the PNW scholarships are $1,000 each and applications are due February 1st. The KCI scholarships range from $500 -$2,000 and applications are due March 15th.
