A LETTER FROM YOUR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR Dear Division 54, I hope you all had a great Independence Day! As your summer progresses, I hope your service shines! There’s plenty of projects and opportunities to serve throughout our community and beyond. It’s as simple as creating letters to thank the troops, or organizing a dog wash with your friends and donating to the ani-

EASTSIDE RALLY Eastside Rally is a fun-filled day that resembles District Convention! Opening session will entail information about the new district project, K-family, and a Miracle Minute. There will be forums on Speed Dating, Service Projects, and Officer Training. Closing session will bring a talent show! Eastside Rally involves many other divisions, including Eastern Washington and part of Southern Idaho Key Clubs! Where: Moses Lake When: 11:00am-4:00pm, August 13th.

LOOKING FOR SERVICE PROJECTS? Check out dosomething.org! They

host ongoing campaigns. One, Smiles for Soldiers, involves making thank you cards for ser-

vice members. You can even participate in a contest to make the most cards!

GRAND OLE 4TH PARADE Shout out to Columbia, Pasco, Chiawana, Southridge, and Delta High School Key Clubs for having members help out at the Fourth of July parade on the Pasco Kiwanis float! Some members decorated the float and everyone passed out candy to parade goers!


FUNDRAISING IDEAS FOR KCCP Need ideas on how to raise funds for our district project, Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program? You can hold miracle minutes or have KCCP jars in the community. Some more fundraising opportunities include: 
