A Message From Your LTG Dear Fellow Lady bugs, I hope all of you guys had a safe and fun Halloween. Also, I hope you guys remembered to Trick-or-Treat for Unicef. Remember, this is only one fundraiser we have many more to help reach or goal. This weekend was the SAT test. I am sure those of you who took the test did a great job on it. With school in session remember to study lots but also have fun. Especially the seniors, this is our last yea lets make it a good one. The KEY to a great year is not only passing your classes but also helping your community. I am excited for this up coming month and I hope all of you are as well. THE ELIMINATE Project What is MNT? MNT stands for maternal neonatal tetanus. MNT kills a baby every eleven minutes. The pain they suffer Is excruciating, they Don’t have many hopes for survival.
How Can You Help? There are many ways in Which you can help eliminate MNT. One of them is fundraising. You can also donate money. Another idea is hold a miracle minute.
Join the fight and lets eliminate MNT!
Are You The Next LTG? Hey Key Clubbers. Election month is quickly approaching. Do you think you could be the next LTG? I am more then sure all of you have the potential of becoming part of the next district board. However, there could only be one. Be thinking about reasons why you want to run. If you don’t want to run but know someone who would do a great job tell them. Support them in their running. I look forward to seeing all of you run for this position. I know you will lead our division into greatness. Don’t be afraid. This is an opportunity for you to spread your love for service.
Holiday Movie Key Clubbers, the holiday season is quickly approaching and this is a great time for all of us to get together. One idea is to get together and watch a Christmas movie. Another, would be to hold a dinner. This cold be either a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. There will also be a gift exchange. The gifts don’t have to be crazy expensive. In fact try to keep the price under ten dollars. I hope to see everyone there. Remember, this is a great time for all of you to bond. I hope you can all make it.
Fundraising Ideas If you want to fundraise for the district project but are having some trouble here are some ideas:
Hold a school dance
Have a bake sale
Raffle off a price
Do a miracle minute
Senior Recognition I know there are many seniors to recognize this year. That is why I need all of your help to recognize every single senior. They deserve to be praised for the work they have done to better our world. If able I would like for all seniors to submit a picture of themselves, if able one where you are doing some type of service activity. In addition a short response on how you got into Key Club and what you enjoyed most about it. I will also try to have a special gift for you guys in honor of what you do for our world. I want to get these before January so please submit them as soon as possible. I want to thank all of you in advanced. You guys are what makes Key Club such a great club. You guys are the KEY to our success. You are always appreciated even when you think no one is noticing. Thank you all.
