INTRODUCTION
Creating Futuristic Workspaces The idea is to inculcate a futuristic perspective into the designing of the office interior keeping Siemens philosophy keeping them ahead of time. The open floor plan has allowed us to play with different ideas and concept to develop this scheme. The curvilinear approach and use of advanced material engineering has allowed us to make spaces that provide us with a space like feel with elements such as the Think Tanks which represent space-age cubicles and the Tree of Light along with lighting fixtures that illuminate the space beautifully. The extensive use of curved glass to make capsule shaped think tanks that are present across, visually breaking the openness of the workspace. These meeting rooms are designed to look path breaking in technology. Organically designed roof, showing a free flowing pattern is designed in sync with the interior planning. The roof was a challenge to execute flows along the circulation visually creating a path creating a well-defined path. The ceiling pattern is replicated on the floor creating a flowing pattern; the floor is carpeted in three shades of grey and three different shades of marble providing a sophisticated feel. Fixtures are selected to match the organic pattern and feel of the roof, the circular cassette air conditioner, circular down lights, strips of light emerging from the ground wrapping up the capsule think tank and transcending into the ceiling. Each floor has a specific theme that is represented by the choice of furniture and flooring colors in the breakout space and leisure furniture breaking the monotony from the greyish tone and providing a distinct character. The furniture for the workspace follows the grey theme giving it an elegant look. The alternative breakout furniture is themed according to the floor color and provides exemplary comfort and design. Each group of workstation has a movable puffy in the respective theme that adds character to the workspace. The breakout zones are designed in playful manner breaking from the monotony. Elements like green walls, lounging furniture, abstract art pieces define a much relaxed and interactive zone. These elements bring a relaxed feel to the area differentiating it from the workspace. Each breakout area has a coffee station and water dispenser for the employees to use.
