CONTEXT OF THE SITE & HERITAGE BUILDINGS The site is the most central part of the traditional residential area in Hubu mountain . Its terrain is low in the west and high in the east. The road is divided into two halves, with steps to the north for pedestrians and ramps to the south. There are traditional horse drinking troughs on both sides of the road. On both sides are typical residential buildings in northern Jiangsu Province, with beautifully carved eaves. One of the representative buildings is the North Jiangsu Folk Museum.

1 The base is located in the core of the Hubu Mountain area.

2 Around the base, there are many landmark buildings and traditional architectural heritage.
5 Connect functional blocks to form a walking space and raise the height of pedestrian sight to the roof.
3 Through research, confirm the placement of newly added functional blocks. Confirm placement point periscope angle, to obtain the best angle of sight observation roof details.

Origami is a game I used to play as a kid. Paper is folded to transform a twodimensional plane into a three-dimensional space. Space is defined by folding.

This is creative use of craft paper tape. After pulling or pushing,different shapes would be made to decorate the classroom.
The work use the idea of repetition, the stick with four holes could create countless shapes as an original,and after unlimited repetition,the size would be extend.It can be used as pervilion and bridge or so.

SURVEY & DRAWINGS OF AN ANCIENT BUILDING
This building was bulit in Qing Dynasty in Yangquan, Shanxi. I surveyed this house and complete the drawing in two weeks. All the measurements of structural components of this building were obtained by hand and recorded carefully on a pile of drafts, based on which, I finished the CAD drawings by myself.
