Costa Rica: A Perfect Vacation With Photos Of This Stunning Country Our Trip To Costa Rica In the summer of 2010, several of my family members and I visited costa rica , and I’m so glad we did. This is a beautiful region between the Pacific and also the Caribbean. Costa Rica indicates “Rich Coast”, and it ranks first about the Happy Planet’s index as the greenest” region in the world. They eliminated their Army inside 1949. Since they haven't any defense budget, they devote their money for their people in the form of good education and health benefits. Costa Rica boosts a literacy rate of 94.9%. Bananas and java is their main foreign trade. The climate of Costa Rica is tropical year round. Travel and leisure makes it most visited nation in Central America. Health-related tourism is attractive to be able to Americans because of its proximity and short airline flight , quality of health-related service, and lower charges. The country has acquired a good reputation in plastic surgery because of those causes , and now you see hotels devoted to the level of privacy of patients, and to afford them high end while getting their process done. Costa Rica features an incredible variety of natural beauty. NEarly 12% of the country is devoted to the upkeep of nature as well as wide life, beneath the protection of the countrywide park system. Costa rica offers visitors the view of rare birds, turtles, pets , hundreds of species of fern and orchids, because of this that it is often referred to as the “Garden of the Americas.” Other natural wonders include coral formations reefs, jungle landscapes and a range of active volcanoes reaching the height of 12 ,000 feet. Costa Rica refuses to conform to stereotypes concerning Central American countries ; it enjoys a well balanced democratic government, stick to high standards of education, which is a relatively prosperous land. I was struck through the cleanliness of the folks and the country. They may be very friendly folks. Since English is required as a second terminology , it is not difficult to speak to the local people. Their own national food meal is Gallo pinto, which is cooked grain and beans toast together. We invested 9 days in this beautiful location. I wish now we had planned for an extended trip. We travelled out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. The airline flight only takes concerning two hours. When you first see Costa Rica from the oxygen as you land, the truth is miles and miles of environmentally friendly , which I found out later are mostly coffee farms , and of course, the jungles. We were met in the Juan Santamaria airport airport by the friendly Tour director , who drove us all to the lovely motel , the El Rodeo. We had a great dinner there, complete with local food. He will choose us up in the morning to start our fabulous trip. I took all the photos together with my Digital camera. Day Two: Early the subsequent morning we began driving to the Poas Volcano area as well as what they call the Cloud Forest. The diameter of this volcano is considered one of the widest in the world. After that, all of us drove to the los angeles Paz Waterfall backyards , a Nature playground. We walked magnificent trails that brought us to Magia Blanca Falls (the biggest and the most magnificent of the falls in your community.) While at this playground , we visited the biggest enclosed butterfly

observatory in the world. Day Three: Early in the morning, we headed off to do white water rafting on the Sarapiqui water. This river provides some of Cosa Rica’s most lush as well as vibrant scenery. Free-flowing, it has its beginnings in clear mountain streams that crash down through thick rainforest, finally signing up for together in the gem waters of the stunning Sarapiqui, This narrow , low-volume river is fantastic for white-water novices, as well as families, all of who will enjoy it reasonably flowing rapids. This journey is excellent regarding bird-watchers and dynamics lovers. You will see hummingbirds, toucans, woodpeckers, as well as scores of other local birds. Later that day we visited the Ecotermales hot Springs. This is a great place to just enter the warm water as well as relax. Day Four: We visit the Monteverde Cloudforest/ heavens Treck and Tram and Nature wander. We hiked via well-marked trails. All of us spotted a Quetzal, a rare and stunning bird, and one of the very beautiful birds on the planet. We saw lots of monkeys and sloths clinging from the trees. All of us spent the night in the Trapp Family hotel. While on our hike , a baby sloth chop down out of a sapling , and our guide gently picked up and placed this back on the sapling where it securely attached itself. This trip took people day. Day Five: We’re upward early and all set for the big heavens Tram/ Zip line Tour. The view from the Sky Tram was amazing. You look out over the rainfall forest. The cable tv runs along the sapling tops, and exercises 7000 feet. Here , you have the opportunity to observe and appreciate tropical forest from various vantage points. Then we walked across the suspended bridge, the Sky Walk. This bridge is 300 feet long as well as 66 feet large. This was a little unnerving, as the bridge swayed a great deal. We furthermore did the “Zip Line” which is cable tv strung high up inside the canopy of the trees and shrubs. There are platforms concerning 500 feet apart. They put you safely gear, harness, helmet , etc. You have to signal a release that they will not be responsible for your own safety, and that was a little alarming in my experience. The guides take you up by steps all the way for the first platform (quite a haul upward ). They make sure you're ready, and then they push you off. And, off you go….attached to the cable. You then zip along to the next platform. I screamed the whole way. There were some people who begged to do it again, yet I did not. At the final platform, the only way lower is to rappel lower. I didn’t know very well what that meant right up until I had to do it. Day six : This day is invested traveling for 5 several hours to get to Manuel Antonio, Quepos. We were in a 4-wheel van. The driver didn’t seems to notice all the pot openings in the road. From one point, the road has been completely washed out, yet he didn’t also slow down! The push was well worth it, even though. We were tired after the long drive, so we ate a big Costa Rican dinner and went to bed. We stayed in the California Hotel. Day Seven: we have got up early as well as headed for the manuel Antonio National playground. An experienced guide took us through the playground. He pointed out things of interest along the way. All of us hiked for three hours. This playground is considered to be Costa Rica’s most beautiful playground , with white-sand beaches ideal for swimming, as well as tropical rainforest in existence with wildlife. There were

monkeys, and iguanas everywhere. We were quite tired after this trip. If you go to costa rica , invest in some good hiking shoes; you will need them. We just relaxed as well as went to bed earlier at the California motel. Day Eight: We were upward early, and had a good hearty breakfast associated with Gallo pinto, as well as were ready to go horse riding. We really enjoyed the horses, and got the opportunity to get off and wander underneath some large water falls. Which was a lot of fun. This exercise took up most of the day. As usual, i was bone tired, were built with a great dinner, as well as went to bed. All of us stayed this night again at the california Hotel. Day Nine: We rested well late for a change. All of us spent the mid-day on a kayak journey through canals. We had lots of wildlife quietly : white-faced monkey, sloths, snakes, crabs, and lots of birds. After this tiring trip, we went back to the hotel to clean up and have a huge dinner. We loaded for our trip house. We have to point out good-bye to this stunning place. We all were built with a wonderful time, as well as would like very much to come back one day. I can realize why so many Americans tend to be retiring in costa rica. The cost of living is so much less that in the states , the government is steady , the people are warm and friendly, and lastly , the main reason I’d prefer to live in Costa Rica may be the weather. It’s warm year round. It gets a little cold upward in the mountains, they inform us. We didn’t rise into the mountains. An additional plus for me is that they keep the same time year round, no relocating the clocks back again and forward. If you are considering visiting Costa Rica, I’d recommend you speak to a tour company. You might think you will save some money by renting a car where you get to the capital of San Juan, and rent a car. I would discourage you from doing this. The roads in costa rica are full of weed holes; they don’t mark their roads very well. The residents say they don’t repair their roads because they don’t desire a lot of traffic. The bus and cab systems are very good. It is well worth the price of hiring a tour company who will drive an individual around, buy all the tickets for the theme parks , and pay for the hotels and food. They will take care of everything from picking you upward at the airport when you arrive , conducting all the tours , and they take an individual back to the airport regarding departure. These charges are all included in their own fee. At the end of the tour, if you are pleased with the service you got , you are expected to tip your driver. The tour group all of us used is called Costa Rican Trails, yet there are many of these excursion companies. Do some research on the net to find them. I might also say everybody in your group needs to be in good physical condition because of the hikes. If you have someone in your party that is not up to hiking , they could stay behind in the motel , and let the a lot more adventuresome do the harder strenuous things. I would certainly suggest Costa Rica for a family vacation at any time of the year. I might advise people planning to go to Costa Rica to adopt a longer trip than we did. If I go again , I will take a twoweek tour package. The country is small, however , you just can’t take action justice in eight days. The two 7 days tours take you against coast to coastline. retiring in Costa Rica
