Is Costa Rica Real-Estate Still Affordable?

Many publications (based upon who they signify !) will represent that Costa Rican real-estate is grossly overpriced and that there are really no "bargains" any further. These so called "specialists " will represent that prices in Dominical, Tamarindo, and Playa Flamingo and Papagayo have increased ten times inside value and that the average sales prices is actually approaching prices in the usa.

So... Are these kinds of claims true or false?

There are homes and land displayed on the website which are spectacular...and yet very few individuals bother to check in regards to what comparables really are...simply because sometimes prices are low-cost by comparison. Simple... As in the particular States or canada or your own neighborhood...do your homework, do not buy sight unseen and make sure which you have the best legal portrayal. You wouldn't buy without having due diligence in the states...don't do it in Costa Rica both. Costa Rica has no multiple listing service , and very few rules and regulations that pertain to your protection... It is truly a country and program of "let the buyer beware !"

But...in a roundabout way...nO, real-estate in Costa Rica remains a bargain...depending upon in places you look AND who you talk to.
