The Animate Inanimate Fall 2022 - Professor Tung Nguyen Hand drawn
1A: Animation For this project, I was tasked with analytically drawing an everyday, depicting movement in a static object. Through plan, section, and elevation in project 1A, I learned about lineweight and techniques like construction lines which can be used as reference when creating multiple drawings on a page.

1B: Dissection In project 1B, a projection from 1A was chosen and focused on, animated through a series of illustrations.

Given a site in downtown Syracuse along a creek and walking path, I were challenged to create a potential youth hostel. The building takes advantage of unit aggregation on the upper levels and community interaction on the ground level.

Fragmentation of River Beds Caused by Water Flow
This exercise involved analyzing an assigned topography, in this case the braided river, and an allocated precedent, the Aloni House. I focused on the key operations of carving and braiding in relation to the river, and embedded versus extruded and bridging for the precedent.

Given a site in central New York, this exercise buildings off of the last exercise, as I combined the key operations focused on in the system-ground construct to design a prospective bathhouse for a local park near Syracuse. SYSTEM-GROUND CONCEPT AXONOMETRIC ARC 207: Project 2_Dana Freedman

Representation Spring 2023 - Professor Joel Kerner Software: Rhino
This assignment combines techniques learned throughout the course to showcase knowledge I gained throughout the class but in an urban context. At a scale of 40” by 40”, small moments are created that focus on different activities that occur daily in a city.
