A Word From The Principal Basketball at Centennial High School Change is often un-nerving. I am sure that there were many adjustments that had to be made as you approached this school year and this season. This year started with a new administrative team and the basketball teams both had new coaches. I hope that many of the questions and fears of the administration have been addressed as well as concerns about the basketball programs. I have enjoyed the spirit of the ladies and men as they have competed. They are excellent representatives of our community and I am proud to see them wearing the symbols of Centennial High School. All ages and teams have a desire to win and never give up! Yet, they do not resort to unsportsmanlike conduct when faced with losing or winning. The atmosphere has been charged by the energy of the cheerleaders and the fans that make it known that they support the teams of Centennial! I thoroughly enjoy the sound of the pounding on the pads as it has to be very disruptive to concentration for our opponents. I hope that you and your students have enjoyed participating either as players, cheerleaders or fans. I know that I have! Thanks for being a part of Centennial High School and its many traditions and legacies! Steve Miletto Principal Centennial High School

A Word From The Athletic Director I would like to congratulate all of the basketball seniors for such a successful 4 years at Centennial High School. During your time at Centennial we have taken enormous steps towards developing a program that is successful on and off the court. With wins on the court and in the classroom you have created a great example of what a student-athlete should strive to achieve. Centennial High School will miss you, but would like to thank you for all of the blood, sweat and tears that you have dedicated throughout your career. Good luck to you in your future endeavors, but always remember that you are forever a knight.

A Word From Coach Eineker Dear Men: Congratulations on all the success you have achieved as student athletes and as members of the Centennial Knights Basketball program. It is easy to see that you have the proper tools and maturity to succeed in whatever you put your minds to. As we reflect on the past year, we have been particularly impressed with the way you all interact with others. Many teachers have commented to me how much they enjoy having you in their classes. That speaks louder than anything you have done on the court, which has also been very impressive. We asked you to bring all your talents and all your efforts and you delivered. The concept of “teamwork” is one that is sorely missing in society today, and you guys definitely have the people skills to fill that need. I am so proud to be your coach and it was great the way you managed the whole getting a new coach your senior year thing. As a member of that club I know that is not easy. So, personally, I thank you for making that an easy transition. On Senior Night I think it is not only appropriate, but well deserved that we honor you for all you have done for Centennial; and, I hope you know how much you are appreciated for all the hard work you put into being the best you could be. You have made us all proud and you have set the right example for those who follow. In a day and age when all the glory seems to go to the schools who gain accolades for drawing talented players to their schools, you guys stuck together and played alongside your neighborhood friends, and that loyalty speaks volumes about your character and integrity. Those are traits to be proud of. Talent is a gift, and you all have talent. But, your character and integrity will last a lifetime, and we are proud to say how well you demonstrated those traits throughout your time here. I truly hope you recall from time to time our quotes of the day, the many “Moede-isms”, and most importantly, I hope you come back to visit often to help deliver the important messages of what it means to be a better man. It is not about material things, but what you have inside of your hearts that matters. Please remember that the only thing constant in life is change and it will be critical that you adapt and grow with those changes. We love you and we are so proud of you. Thanks for all the memories you gave us! On behalf of the entire Centennial Program- Good luck in school and beyond and know you are always thought of by the Centennial Knights Family! Knights on three, Knights on three, one…two…three…KNIGHTS!

A Word From Coach White Alaina, Ashley. Brooke and Lindsey: The senior girl’s basketball class of 2011 has demonstrated outstanding leadership. Each of you have contributed in different ways to the program and your legacy will be one of hard work, commitment, perseverance and tenacity. Alaina, your hard work in the offseason has been demonstrated in your improvement and valuable contributions during the season. Your positive attitude and approach to the game, has resulted in confidence from the coaches and your teammates. You have made significant contributions this year and have been a vocal leader for the team. Brooke, your perseverance and work ethic has been remarkable. As an elite athlete in another sport, it would be understandable for you to put ” less effort” into basketball. However, “less effort”, is not a part of your make up. As the “quiet one” who leads by example, you are a great defender and a heady player. Lindsey, you have worked very hard this year and transformed into an outstanding basketball player. You are unsurpassed in your commitment to the team and have demonstrated leadership qualities that any coach would want. You will be remembered for your exhaustive efforts and great plays. Ashley, while this year did not turn out as we would have wished for you, you have shown yourself to be a mature and talented leader. Your tenacity on the court is contagious and is a great example for the entire program. Your leadership on and off the court has set a high standard for those who will follow you. You have each left your imprint on the girl’s basketball program at Centennial. Thank you for being outstanding leaders. Coach White
