GSM: When Did You Start Doing Music ? I started writing music in 2000 me and my brother & a friend of mined . We used to sit in room & write songs off the 50 Cent Instrumentals Get Rich or Die Tryin. Summer 2004 I got locked up I had to sit down for a little minute so I started writing and I didn’t know at a time I could write like I did but I wrote quite a bit of songs and when I got out I went to Florida and found a studio and linked up with some homies and started recording the songs that I had wrote when I was incarcerated and once I started hearing myself on the speakers after recording I played myself in the car I never looked back. I kept grinding it until I found my craft. GSM: Who Are Your Biggest Influences On Music ? My biggest influence in the music is trae da truth & snoop , I always loved his music & was a fan of snoop. I met snoop when they was on the “up and smoke tour” in norfolk virginia snoop was just a gangster straight to the point no sugar coating lol. Back then up and coming gangster rap was raw & to us he was known as uncle snoop. The cool laid-back og i respect that , great father god-father great mentor and trae da truth mann this dude here is awesome all the way round with the music and the political taking , he was back in the hood helping with the hurricane victims and helping rebuild homes . The list goes on. What i like more about trae the truth is that he is from houston texas and i started doing my research on the major artist out of houston known as syrup city trae is a good mentor great father a great friend and is underrated and not getting the recognition that he is suppose to and even after he was blackballed from the radio stations he still put in the work and grind and i respected that king cause he never gave up GSM: What Kind Of Artist Would You Say Citi Boi Is ? Chris “Mayhem” Myers was born on Jan 27, 1987 to (I shit you not ) Mary J. Goodman in Springfield, Ohio. He lived in the city of Dayton up until he enlisted in the army at the age of 17. During his time in the service, he sustained several injuries including multiple traumatic brain injuries, and several severe wounds to the abdomen, face and his back. After returning home he was signed to a band called “Project Born” under Insane Clown Posse’s record label Psychopathic records in 2010. He released his first cd titled “The Fix” in August of 2013. The year 2013 would turn out to be a bad year for him. Six weeks after his cd coming out he was shot in a bar in his hometown of Dayton, Ohio, he was mourning the loss of a close friend “ Smokey “, who was killed in a motorcycle accident the day before. He later on, was also involved in a high speed motorcycle accident in Cincinnati, Ohio. As if the year wasn’t hard enough, on halloween night in 2013 his girlfriend Samantha Decker was killed when the couple was together at decker’s condo in Fairfield, Ohio. Fast forward to 2019, he is a fitness coach in Cincinnati, Ohio and he owns and operates a business called “Mission 1st “ that has ties to everything you could want or need that’s fitness related. He has a newly opened you tube channel called “Mission 1st “ that just posted a video about everything that has happened to him and the multiple times he has almost died, including a major heart attack in 2018.He has been through the ringer on more accounts than just one. And he has accomplished more than anyone has thought imaginable due to the severity of his injuries. He through his own actions has tried to be a positive driving force in people he comes into contact with, that you can always do more. He has coached people from all backgrounds and health concerns and frequently says that “the only limit you have is the one you put on yourself ” You can keep up with him and see more of his story Ig: Chris_thetrainer Fb: chris_thetrainer @MissionFirstFitness

I have my own sound which is a collection of my 3 greatest producers Mannie Fresh Zaytoven & Dr. Dre... I got started in music by switching from poetry into hip hop around 2009 2010 . Got into icb and fomed d.D.T. Or daytons dream team with homie and ta $ . I now proudly represent a.T.G. Or against the grain ent. 3.) How you feel about the music scene in dayton ohio ? I think the music scene in dayton is amazing . At least as far as talent goes. But there isnt enough local support or networkin going on. It seems like there’s different show groups that stick to each other like cliques and alot of unnecessary diss tracks that lead nowhere . I’d really love to see a battle scene become more prevalent in the future . And aside from that i’d like to see more cross promotion shows . I think it would benefit alot of artists if that happened. Also look out for a.T.G. Ent . We have alot of new great undiscovered talent and material coming out soon . 4.) Would you say you a lyricist? I would say i am a lyricist. Or at least try to be . I was inspired by rakim ,nas, lupe fiasco and bone thugs n harmony. Namely krayzie bone . But it’s something i try and work on everyday to get better at . 5.) Who’s your top 5 rappers ? 1.) Nas 2 .) Lupe 3 .) Rakim 4. ) Krayzie bone 5 .) 2Pac
