RELOCATING TO LAKE LAS VEGAS
Lake Las Vegas
TAKES THE STRESS OUT OF RELOCATING
— By Whitney Maher
Who says relocating has to be stressful? Despite what you may have heard, relocating to a new community can be one of the most enjoyable and invigorating times in your life.
“Finding a new home in a community that checks all the boxes can feel like embarking on something new and exciting, particularly for those who live in a place that has become boring to them,” said Patrick Parker, president of Raintree Investment Corp, the master developer of Lake Las Vegas. “The opportunity to make a change and to live in a place that offers more than just homes on a street has been a driving factor in Lake Las Vegas’ success.”
Parker, who also oversees communities in California, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah said relocating to communities with both indoor and outdoor amenities gives new residents easy ways to get to know each other.
Unlike the common suburban neighborhood, Lake Las Vegas offers residents a sense of community and adventure with access to two championship golf courses, membership opportunities to the state-ofthe-art Lake Las Vegas Sports Club, and endless mountainside trails to explore, with panoramic views of the community’s own 320-acre lake and the entire Southern Nevada valley.
“Where else can you grab your paddleboard and head out to the lake, hike or ride some of the city’s best desert trails right from your front door?” said Parker. “Whether you want a casual evening stroll with your dogs or an invigorating trail ride after work, there are lots of opportunities to stay fit outdoors at Lake Las Vegas.” Residents can live in between the great outdoors and the bright city lights, with Lake Mead, the largest man-made lake in the country, and the Las Vegas Strip just a short drive in both directions. The award-winning community features a hub of eateries and entertainment at The Village, with a neighborhood grocery story – Seasons Grocery and Deli – and opportunities to have a meal, enjoy your morning coffee or just relax on the grass lakeside.
“You have everything right at your fingertips without needing to travel far – a rare perk among large master plans,” Parker said.
Located in Henderson, Lake Las Vegas is also nearby sports facilities including the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice facility, Henderson Event Center, and Henderson Silver Knights’ Lifeguard Arena. It is also nearby top-rated schools and home to roughly 80 miles of trails—more than any city in Nevada.
Want to make sure your next move is the perfect one for you? Parker suggests visiting multiple times to get a true feeling for a community. “We have lots of new residents say they spent a weekend at Lake Las Vegas to get a true picture of what life is like here,” he said. “Stay in one of our two hotels, have dinner in the Village and brunch at your hotel, take a paddleboard or electric boat ride, play a round of golf and really experience what the community would be like for you.”
