LAWRENCE JONES Outshines In First Year Of Cross Country
Lawrence Jones is the host of FOX News Channel’s Saturday night primetime program “Lawrence Jones Cross Country.”
The 30-year-old is the youngest black man to helm a primetime program on cable news, an honor that Jones holds with pride. While his show is based out of New York City, he credits his success to his Dallas, Texas upbringing.
Jones began as a student journalist at the University of North Texas while studying political science and criminal justice. Prior to joining Fox News, Lawrence was the Editor-In-Chief at conservative website Campus Reform. He also hosted The Lawrence Jones Show on TheBlaze Radio Network and served as a contributing host for TheBlaze TV.
Aside from pursuing a career in cable news, Lawrence has a passion for fashion. He goes wherever the leading story takes him, transforming his style to fit the destination. If you eye him on a weekday in Idaho, he’ll be sporting his favorite pair of cowboy boots. If he shows up in Chicago, he’ll be rocking his Jordans.
He’s always on the move, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I’m rarely at the office. I’m usually with our audience cross-country being my authentic self, telling stories. I love what I do.”
With the one-year anniversary of Lawrence Jones Cross Country coming up on January 29th, Lawrence Jones is grateful to be living his dream. If you happen to catch him in your neighborhood, be sure to say hello.
