Academy For the Intellectually Gifted The students are offered a differentiated, accelerated, and enriched program of instruction. Challenging projects engage students in problem solving activities to develop higher-‐level thinking and creative critical analysis skills.
Community School District 30 Gifted and Talented Program Philosophy The mission of the Community School District 30 Gifted and Talented program is to provide children with a “world class” education. The program was created to meet the unique needs of community children who have met the criteria for giftedness. These are children who are creative thinkers and problem solvers. The educational program is designed to support and enhance their abilities. They are provided with a differentiated curriculum which is advanced, enriched, and designed to challenge their critical, creative, and productive thinking processes. Admission to the program is based on a comprehensive screening process. Students must continue to demonstrate high standards both academically and socially to maintain eligibility for the program.
