You can supply finished HTML files, or supply layered photoshop files from which we will create finished HTML pages for you and then install the required software (see Dreamweaver Layout Service, page 18).

Once the project is underway you will have access to the development area to enable you to keep an eye on how things are progressing. Your developer will only get in touch with you should there be any artwork issues or queries with the methodology of the system being implemented. All the systems we develop with agencies make no mention of our name. Once a development is completed, your developer will personalise it with your company name and contact information.

Product manager enables the site administrator to fully manage all aspects of product maintenance. Admin has the ability to add / remove and update product information in real-time. The system includes category management and a fully dynamic search facility for site users. Image management is supplied as standard.

User manager is the solution for websites that wish to run a client login area. The system enables site users to signup online and await approval by the site administrator. Once admin has approved the account, the system sends an email confirming their login details. Admin has the ability to suspend a users account as required.

The stats management software enables the site administrator to fully monitor website traffic on an hourly, daily, weekly and monthly basis. As standard the software shows referrer information, exit points of the website and page views. User usage is also available as long as the website is running the User Manager software.

The database management software enables the site administrator to manage in full the website database(s). The facility enables admin to create download versions of the data in a usable format that can be imported into other software packages. The file management software enables the host website to run an online file resource area within the website. Admin has the ability to add / remove and update files as and when required. As files are added to the system admin is required to enter a document title, brief description and keywords. The software is supplied with category management.

Link manager enables the website to run a links resource page for its site users. Admin has the ability to add / remove and update hyperlinks as required. Links can be set as either internal or external and to cater for this, admin is presented with an option of either opening the link in the same or new window. Admin can specify titles and descriptions.

FAQ Manager is a useful software package that can reduce customer care considerably. The software enables admin to add / remove and update FAQ’s as and when required. When creating an FAQs admin is required to enter a question and answer and specify the category it is to be assigned to.

The directory facility enables the host website to run a directory resource area for its site users. The facility enables the site user to search through the directory database using search methods such as, keyword, industry type, service, postcode, telephone prefix and region. Results are displayed with full company information.

The store Locater is a useful software package for trade companies that have a national / international base of shops that sell their goods. When a store is added to the database admin is required to enter the full address details, the email and web address and also the products they specialise in. There is also the ability to add a map image to enable site users to locate the store with ease.

The gallery software enables the host website to run an online picture gallery for its site users. The facility enables admin to add / remove and update images as required. As admin adds new images to the gallery they are required to enter an image title, description and keywords.

The keyword facility enables site users to search the entire content of the website. Once the user has entered their required term, they are directed through to the results page where the search results are listed.

The JVC website requirement entailed creating a fully searchable product based website to enable site users to locate the required product with ease and a store Locater facility to enable users to locate the store nearest to them. The new JVC Mobile website now runs a full backoffice administration area that enables the client to manage the products they display on the website and also enables them to manage the stores that sell the JVC range of products. The new system has been well received by both the client and the site visitors.

e-com manager E-Com Manager software is a fully integrated e-Commerce software package that covers all aspects of trading online. Site users use a dynamic search facility to locate the required product via a keyword and or a category search. The list of results consists of a google style pagination facility, clickable page numbers and a next and previous button. Each result will display a thumbnail image, title, brief description, cost, more info button and add to cart option. Choosing the more information option, will take them through to a more detailed page displaying a full size image and more information on the product. From this point the user will have the ability to add the product to their shopping cart or go back to the search results page. If they choose the add to cart option the product will be added to the shopping cart and enable the user to change quantities required. From this point the user can continue shopping or checkout.

If the user chooses to checkout the system will direct them through to the customer detail screen. If the person has already shopped with the website before, they will have the ability to input their username and password to complete the purchase. If the user has not shopped with the website before, they will be required to enter all the details including a username and password for future shopping. When the login or registration process is complete the user will be directed to the secure payment servers. Here they will be prompted to enter their card details. The system will then direct them to a thank you screen and displaying their order number. As well as this the user will also receive an email confirming their order details and again thanking them. More information on the individual modules is detailed below.

The software enables the site administrator to fully manage all aspects of their online products. The system ensures that all aspects of product management are catered for including the ability to add / remove and update product information in real-time. Category management ensures the site administrator can manage the categories they wish to assign products to. To ensure the site administrator does not require FTP to upload the product images to the server, the software is supplied with an integrated image upload facility. This gives admin the ability to upload images from the browser.

All orders that are approved are instantly written to the order management database. All orders received are given a unique order number which is confirmed to the client on their thank you email. Once admin has entered Order Manager the system defaults the display to the current month and shows all orders received on a line format. Once admin clicks the order number the full information is displayed including the customer and order details. Shipping management enables admin to enter the details of the carrier and once the order is set as shipped the customer receives an automated email confirming their order has been despatched.

Customer Manager ensures that once a user has shopped with the website they have a username and password that enables them to login at the point of checkout. This ensures the client does not have to input their personal details each time they wish to place an order. From the backoffice admin can browse customers and view the order(s) they have placed in the past. If required admin can suspend a users account.

Shopping Manager includes the product search facility which enables site users to locate the product they are looking for. This generally consists of a keyword and category search but can include other fields held within the product database. Once the user has located the required product they have the ability to add it to the shopping cart. From the shopping cart the user will specify the quantity required and then enter their personal information into the customer detail screen. The user will then be directed to make their payment online.

The mailshot management software enables the host website to market its products and services via email. The system enables the administrator to either bulk or tailor emailshots to database members. The mailshot software is supplied with a user signup facility which is available from the website to enable site traffic to signup for emails and newsletters.

All users are initially set up by admin. Admin is required to enter all company information and whether the user has a credit account or must pay by credit card online. Once the account is set as active an email is sent confirming their details and welcoming them to the website. When a trade user logs in, they only see trade prices relevant to them, including any discounts.

The software offers two ways of linking the systems, the first option gives the ability to create a download of the web orders and import them directly to the accounts package. The second option is for a live link between the software packages. This facility shows real-time order status within the accounts package and the website.

The brief for the Skoda e-commerce project was: To enable retailers to utilise an online facility for ordering both stationery and general merchandise. Each retailer has their own trade username and password. The same e-commerce site is available to the general public, for them to buy merchandise online. The end result was a single e-commerce system with a trade login facility. This enables Skoda to select the products they wish to sell to their trade customers and the general public independently.

The system enables admin to fully manage the availability of properties advertised online and is supplied with area management to enable admin to create and manage the areas they have properties within.

The football management software enables the host website to run an online football dreamteam facility. The system requires users to signup and create their account. From their account the user has access to their transfer kitty where they are able to purchase players for each position required to create their team.

This is the solution for websites wishing to sell the latest mobile phone media to its site users. The system gives the ability to offer not only ringtones but also the latest colour backgrounds, screensavers, logos, java games and other mobile phone media.

Run a fully managed dating facility and enable site users to arrange meetings with other users. The system requires all users to signup and enter their personal details together with a username and password. This software enables the website to run single or multiple competitions for site users. Admin has the ability to create competitions as required. When setting up a competition admin is required to enter a question and 4 multiple choice answers. The prize photograph is uploaded and the text which explains the prize and the competition details are entered.

Job manager enables the host website to run their own HR area. Admin has the ability to add / remove and update job information as and when required. Category management enables admin to create and manage the job categories they wish to assign jobs to. A latest jobs option is available to enable admin to ‘flag’ jobs that they wish to appear on the home page.

The question management software requires site users to initially signup and become registered users of the system. Once the user account is complete the user can enter the first level of the question facility. The user will select the answers to the questions and submit their entry, the system will display on screen their results and whether they have passed or failed. If they have passed they progress through to the next level. The end result when the levels have been completed is that the user is able to print off a personalised certificate.

Admin has the ability to create bulletin forums as required for users. Once a user enters the forum the current posts are displayed. Users can respond to existing posts or create new threads. Admin has full control over all information held within the bulletin forums. From the backoffice admin can edit or remove postings that have been made.

Site users will be required to register prior to entering the competition. The user will select their answer(s) and submit it for the draw. All submissions are written to database including all the user information.

Site users can search for a job by keyword, salary or category. Once the user has located a job of interest they have the ability to apply online.

For users that enter answers incorrectly, they are required to complete the level again. The system will always generate a random list of questions. From the backoffice admin can select the number of levels, enter the questions and answers and view the users status within the question facility.

The case study software enables the host website to promote itself via case studies of existing satisfied customers. Site users can search events by using the search panel which generally includes a keyword and category search. Once the user has performed their search they will be presented with the matching events. From here the user can view the full information on the event and book their tickets online. The brief from the agency suggested that Skoda required a web based facility that would enable them to manage the sales, order processing, invoicing and product management of the Skoda Merchandise websites. The management system links directly to the Skoda website and automates the management of orders received from both trade customers as well as their end user customers. Once orders are received the system sends out relevant purchase orders to suppliers and generally manages the order process on a daily basis. The bespoke solution was implemented over a 10 week production schedule and has ensured the management of the website can be fully controlled in-house.

Our Dreamweaver Layout Service has been a huge hit with all our partners. The service enables our partners to supply layered Photoshop files for us to create into finished HTML.

Every job we do comes with the first years hosting and email services included.

The search engine management service offers the ability to get a website up the search engine rankings.

Site fix is a popular service with all our existing partners. The service enables you to supply a url of an existing client website to us for the purpose of generating a report. This is based on improving the website by using certain software solutions.

You can now hand over the project to us at an earlier stage than before. Once your client has signed off the artwork proofs, we will set up an FTP area for you to upload them to our servers, then one of our HTML editors will start work for you. If the service is being used in conjunction with our software development service, we will create all the HTML for your approval, then the approved pages will be handed on to your dedicated software developer. Included in the service is the ability for all page content to be supplied, text should be supplied as word documents, images should be supplied to size and in jpeg or gif format. Lead-times for this service vary, but as an indication, a ten page website will be ready for approval 48 hours after being submitted to us. This service also covers javascript menu creation and form 2 emails. These are available but not covered within the standard Dreamweaver Layout Charges.

We have three main hosting solutions, designed to accommodate all of our clients. The bronze account is a shared server environment, catering for more than 75% of our hosting requirement, and includes full POP3 email services, webmail and a full stats program. The silver account is a part dedicated server environment, with fewer systems sharing the server. All the bronze account services are available but this option caters for high levels of bandwidth and hard disk space. The gold account is a fully dedicated server environment. The options for fully dedicated servers are quite extensive and implemented on a per client basis. Dedicated servers offer very high levels of bandwidth, large disk space and excellent server response time. Included with the bronze and silver hosting packages is the standard service level agreement with backups and software patches also included. High end service level agreements, for our gold account partners or for websites running high end data are of course available. Please ask for more details

The toptenhit service offers two levels of service:

Standard This package offers good search engine rankings for websites that are in a more niche business sector. The service is based on guarantee levels and offers a guarantee of up to at least ten top ten listings in a minimum of ten of the top fifty search engines. Reports are sent monthly as an HTML document which is unbranded to ensure it can be used by your client. In addition the service is fully monitored and slight changes and additions are always put forward when we feel more can be achieved.

Premium The premium package is the top level service we offer for search engine management. The service is directed via the top five search engines and is fully monitored by a search engine technician. On an ongoing basis changes, additions and recommendations will be made that will each help the website achieve high search engine rankings. This service is run on a monthly basis only.

A sales / technical adviser will analyse the site and once complete will supply a text document highlighting the recommended software solutions. The document supplied makes no mention of webpagesoftware, this ensures you can simply print the document onto your letterhead and use it for your client meeting. Please speak to the sales department for more information on this service. When you are in talks with a sales adviser it is often worth looking at the site together prior to the site fix document being created for you. The lead time for the service is seven days from receipt of your request.
