Booster cushion (18-36 kg) This booster cushion is to be used by children who weigh betwen 18 and 36 Kg. (40 and 80 Lbs.) and are between 102 and 137 cm. (40 and 54 In.) in height. As well as being comfortable, the removable booster cushion helps place the child so that the safety belt is correctly positioned across the hips and chest. (Check with your retailer for availability). Adjustable backrest This adjustable backrest is to be used in conjunction with above booster cushion by children who weigh betwen 18 and 36 Kg. (40 and 80 Lbs.) and are between 102 and 137 cm. (40 and 54 In.) in height. The adjustable backrest provides extra support to the back and neck while helping to increase protection in the event of a rear-end collision. It’s height-adjustable so that the safety belt can be positioned comfortably across the shoulder and chest of children of various heights. The backrest can also be reclined for sleeping. Front and rear park assist Rear park assist helps make it safer and easier to reverse into tight spaces. A pulsating tone in the cabin rises to a steady signal when an object is about 30 cm behind your rear bumper. Similarly, front park assist alerts you as you approach an object in front of your car. Volvo Integrated Navigation System (VNS) Volvo’s GPS-based Volvo Navigation System is totally integrated with your Volvo. Audible guidance and detailed maps help you find the fastest route to your destination. If available in your area TMC (Traffic Message Channel) radio data broadcasts VNS also lets you know if there’s weather-related trouble on route and recommends an alternative. The VNS is easily controlled from the steering wheel or optional remote, and the screen is positioned so you can keep your attention on traffic. When not in use, the screen retracts into the dash. All the map information is aquired from multiple DVDs or a hard disk drive (HDD) on certain models.

Park assist camera The park assist camera is discretely mounted in the tailgate to increase your field of vision behind the car. The navigation screen is used to show the driver the view that’s beneath the rear window. By including the edge of the bumper and the tow bar if one is fitted, the camera enables the driver to park or align the car with a trailer with great precision. The image on the screen also includes guidelines to show the vehicle’s path and the system activates and deactivates together with the reverse gear.
