Feel Good – Strategic relationship competences for healthcare professionals Fundación Docete Omnes is undertaking, under the Erasmus+ call, the project Feed Good- (Strategic relationship competences for healthcare professionalsStrategic competences for healthcare professionals). The European Union is facing more and more difficulties regarding the healthcare and social welfare sector. Healthcare and social welfare represents the biggest sector from the entire European Union’s labour force. From an individual’s standpoint, health services are a fundamental part of each person’s social framework. These services cover different types of risk which a person may face during his/her lifetime. Health services play a key role by guaranteeing an effective and efficient protection for the person, by fostering social inclusion, by reducing the risk of poverty and inequalities along with improving social cohesion. To reach these goals, the quality, access, coverage and affordability of health services are essential. The Feed Good project aims at improving those competences that affect the relationship of healthcare professionals when they work with patients. Raise awareness between healthcare professionals about topics such as multiculturality, empathy and active listening. Improve the knowledge of healthcare professionals with regard to Medical Humanities and planning of these principles in their daily practice. Help with self-assessment and self-reflection processes about flexible competences of healthcare professionals and their recipients and highlight the importance of the invisible curriculum concerning the education of healthcare professionals. Fundación Docete Omnes has conducted a national investigation by gathering information about current policies on competences of healthcare professionals and social welfare. Fundación Docete Omnes has undertaken a comparative study with investigations of partners of different project participant countries. National investigations can be found in the Feed Good platform.
