Join Our Choir!

Do you like to sing? Did you know that singing is praising God in prayer? If you are interested in joining the choir please contact the Music Director, David Funes to musicdirector@icctampa.org or by phone 813-885-7861Ext 205.There may be those who have never been in the choir and have been interested in possibly becoming a choir member. We would love to have you come for rehearsal on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the music room located in the back of the Church. Come and join our choir this will be a wonderful experience, don’t need to read music, all you need is your voice an open heart and ready to serve our Lord through this Ministry.

Someone to volunteer to sign for the deaf at the 9:00 AM mass on Sunday. We have had several requests and know it would be greatly appreciated. Please call the Church office at 813-8857861 if you are interested.

The Marriage Jubilee Mass of Thanksgiving will take place at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle on Sunday, February 12th at 3:00pm. This event honors couples throughout the diocese who will celebrate their 25 th anniversary as well as those celebrating 50 or more years of marriage during the 2023 calendar year. Please RSVP to our parish office by Tuesday January 17th.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul –Incarnation Conference

Thanks to the generous support from our parish, we have assisted, from February to mid-August, 99 households consisting of 238 people in our community with rent, utilities, food, and other expenses. And we have been able to help them solely because of your generosity. The food pantry, located in what was previously the chapel, is now open two days a month on the fourth Wednesday and Saturday from 10am to noon for those who reside in the 33614, 33615, 33634 and 33635 zip codes. Those in need may also call 813-421-2201 for an appointment. We appreciate your continued support with food and monetary donations every third Sunday of the month. If you are interested in learning more about our organization, we welcome you to join us at our monthly meetings every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 at the back of the church across from Grotto with the blessed Mother. La Sociedad de San Vicente de Paul –Conferencia de la Iglesia de Encarnación Gracias al generoso apoyo de nuestra parroquia, hemos ayudado, desde febrero hasta mediados de agosto, a 99 hogares que consisten en 238 personas en nuestra comunidad con alquiler, servicios públicos, alimentos y otros gastos. Y hemos podido ayudarlos únicamente gracias a su generosidad. La despensa de alimentos, ubicada en lo que antes era la capilla, ahora está abierta dos días al mes el cuarto miércoles y sábado de 10 am a mediodía para aquellos que residen en los códigos postales 33614, 33615, 33634 y 33635. Los necesitados también pueden llamar al 813-421-2201 para una cita. Agradecemos su continuo apoyo con donaciones de alimentos y dinero cada tercer domingo del mes. Prayers everyone has been able to return to the regular routines now that the Holidays have ended. We are back in class.

Those making their Sacraments just had workshops and are preparing for Reconciliation next month. Please keep all those receiving Reconciliation for the first time as well as our Confirmandi, in your prayers at this special time.

Our next workshop for the Reconciliation/Communion children will be Saturday January 28th at 10:00am in St. Michael’s Hall. For those receiving Confirmation, your next workshop is February 15th at 6pm. Please meet in the Church to begin with Confessions and then we will end in St. Michael’s Hall.

7th and 8th Graders: You are invited to join us in St. Michael’s Hall on Wednesday January 18th at 6:30pm. We are having first Youth Group meeting of 2023. We hope to see you all there. Permission slips are required. We have them in the Faith Formation Office, or they can be filled out Wednesday so bring a parent to drop you off. Please call the Faith Formation Office to let us know you will be there 813-884-3624. Attention Parents: Adult Volunteers are needed to assist with the Youth Group. If you are interested, please call the Faith Formation office.

Oraciones para que todos hayan podido volver a las rutinas regulares ahora que las vacaciones han terminado. Estamos de vuelta en clases. Aquellos que hacen sus sacramentos acaban de tener talleres y se están preparando para la reconciliación el próximo mes. RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of initiation by which individuals are fully received into the Catholic Church through the reception of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist or Communion.
