He has a strong relationship with his Filipino-native grandmother, whom he refers to as Lola (word for grandmother).
LOLA (74): Benji’s grandmother, is an elderly woman nearing the end of her life. She stays in the hospital where she’s often visited by Benji. Lola has a deeply-rooted connection of understanding and unconditional love with her grandson. She’s a strong-willed but sweet lady who appreciates her son’s efforts to connect with their dying culture in America. Lola cares more for Benji’s inherent self rather than his actions.
TITO JASON (49): An unkempt middle-aged man who spends his free time drinking beer and watching television game shows. He’s supposed to portray your typical tito (word for uncle). His overly curious questions for Benji overstep his boundaries as a stranger, but in the fashion that a young man would overlook.

TITLE: The Assholes
WRITER: Sam Lyons
LOGLINE: Stuck in airport security with a bag of coke and nowhere else to hide it, four finance bros argue over whose rectum should pay the price to grant them safe passage.
CHARACTERS:
CAHILL (24): The self proclaimed “leader” of the group; the most “Finance Bro” of all the Finance Bros. He’s one of those guys who saw Jordan Belfort as the hero in The Wolf of Wall Street. He leads the Assholes by sheer charisma alone, often throwing his friends under the bus to serve the common (his) interest. Out of all of them, he’s got the longest mullet.
JOHNSON (24): The second in command; the most low-key, calm and calculated member of the Assholes. He’s the smartest, definitely referred to as the “math guy” at their home firm of Dickens Sachs. Rightfully so, he’s the only one Cahill trusts to carry the cocaine. Out of all of them, he’s got the second longest mullet.
DAVIDS (24): The third in the pecking order. A little unsure of himself, Davids is the most emotionally volatile of the Assholes. He’s just an angry guy. A tight ass. Don’t think he doesn’t like to party though...out of all of them, he could probably do the most cocaine. He’s got the third longest mullet.
BOYLE (20): The bitch of the group. The Jonah Hill to Cahill’s Leo DiCaprio. The cocaine definitely wasn’t his idea, and he sure as hell wasn’t gonna be offered any of it when the group landed in Fresno. He doesn’t handle stressful situations well, and he’s not good at lying to the police. Boyle has no mullet. He's bald.
TSA AGENT (45): A little stiff. This definitely wasn’t his choice of career, and it shows
AGENT LEWINSKY (36): She’s completely different from the TSA Agent. Lewinsky is enthusiastic, reassuring, and can talk for what seems like forever. Likes dogs.
ANCHORWOMAN (30): Deadpan and professional, almost to a fault.
DONALD TRUMP (78): You already know who he is.

CHARACTERS:
THE NARRATOR: Gruff, Southern
SHELLY (60s): Blueberry farmer
DAVE (60s): Shelly’s husband
BERNIE (60s): A librarian
THE DETECTIVE (40s)
PRESIDENT BUCHANNAN II (78) Trumpish
TITLE:
Rubber
WRITER:
Harold Fullilove III
LOGLINE: Determined to find a condom so he can have sex before his roommate gets home, college sophomore Tyler encounters a series of obstacles, misunderstandings, and mishaps as he becomes more and more desperate to find a rubber.
CHARACTERS:
Tyler: Tyler is a 19-year-old college sophomore with one thing on his mind: sex. He’s careless, impulsive, and constantly acts without thinking first. He doesn’t have much going for him like, ever so when he gets the chance to have sex, it becomes his only, all-consuming goal. Public embarrassment is of no concern to him he hardly registers it when he has a job to complete.
Sara: Sara is an attractive college sophomore with not much going on right now. In all honesty, she could do way better than Tyler and she knows it, but is throwing him a bone out of not much more than boredom. She has little patience for his antics, but is still more willing to put up with them than she should be.
Cashier: The cashier is a guy who takes his time with everything. Other people’s time is of no concern to him he’s going to move at his own pace whether you like it or not.
Jonas: Jonas is a self-concerned guy. He’s not a narcissistic asshole per se, but he’s probably not going to be very attentive or helpful regarding your problems if you’re having a rough time around him.
PSafe Officer
TITLE: The Green
WRITER: Matthew Levy
LOGLINE: A new, green employee clashes with his veteran, slacker co-workers after they collectively sink a golf-cart in the river.
CHARACTERS:
Richard (19): The “newbie.” He is uptight and extraordinarily awkward. He actually cares about each task he is given, and would like to put effort into his work. He is definitely an approval-seeker, and often tries to impress Tyler, his boss. He acts as though he may become the owner of the club one day through hard work and dedication, and wants to do everything in his power to avoid getting into trouble. Richard’s dialogue is a bit long and wordy, sort of like the character Greg from Succession.
Julian (19): A veteran worker He is tired, lazy, and feels that he isn’t being paid enough for the work that he does He often finds any excuse that he can to take a break, and takes much longer breaks than he is given Even though each person’s shift starts at 5:30 a m , Julian shows up at 9:00 a m sharp (during the 9:00 a m 15-minute break) He always has weed, and enjoys smoking on the job Because the boss knows that he is not the most reliable worker, he is often given jobs that are either less important, or far less enjoyable He does not believe that the work he does is important in any way When there are big events/outings on the course, he drives around and steals the free alcohol He also clocks in virtually without actually being at the club from time to time, but no one has noticed thus far.
Dom (50): Much older than the rest of the crew, but everyone loves him. He has an excellent sense of humor, and is a relatively good worker when given an important job. He actually does show up at 5:30 a.m., works hard, and then slacks off with Julian and the rest of the crew later on in the day. He is quite resourceful, and carries a large knife in his pocket at all times. Even though Dom is a very friendly person, he does have a temper, and someone like Richard would anger him quickly. Dom speaks with a thick Jamaican accent, and the rest of the crew often has a hard time understanding what he is saying. He buys his weed from Julian.
Bryan (23): Dom’s partner. He is covered in tattoos and is physically intimidating. He does have a criminal history, and is currently out on parole, but his current girlfriend keeps him in line (she has him by the balls). His girlfriend drops him off at work and picks him up. She even shows up in the middle of his shift from time to time. Bryan mostly works to provide for his single mother, whom he cares for dearly Both his father and his grandfather worked in manual labor, and Bryan believes that it is the only thing he is good at, even though he would have liked to have pursued higher education Bryan’s dialogue is a bit coarse, and he is just a little tone-deaf He thinks that Richard is a little bitch Loves King Von
Tyler (43): The boss He’s strict, but does try to fit in with the younger employees He graduated with a degree in golf-course management, and believes that he is far more intelligent than all of the other workers He tries to pay his employees as little as possible, and then complains that the club is understaffed. Part of the reason why he keeps workers like Julian around is because he has no one else to take their place. To Tyler, Richard is “fresh meat” someone that he can pay minimum wage, coerce into working overtime every day, and take advantage of in every way possible. Tyler is almost always chewing on tobacco, and he has a dog (Border Collie) with him at all times. He also loves the rap artist Trick Daddy, and is addicted to online poker.

ADULT PETER (19): An art school applicant.
BAEK YONG-IL (80s): Peter’s joyful, immigrant grandfather who’s always in his own world.
HANNAH BAEK (Late 40s): Peter’s sensitive mother.

Ada: Cool girl, edgy, rebel for an extremist cult member. She joined the cult later in life after being “saved.” She’s devoted to turning her life around for the better. Earnestly helpful and understanding.
Ruth: Ruth is an anxious, nervous presence in the group. She’s unsure whether she made the right decision to join the cult. Often casts doubt on the church’s teachings, not out of arrogance, but out of legitimate concern.
