ORANGE, Calif – “Forget Me Not,” a horror film written and directed by Alexander Edep, will premiere at the 2021 Breck Film Festival, said film producer, Samantha Kurtz. The film is based on the tragedies of the Armenian genocide and follows a soon-to-be college graduate haunted by the horrors of his ancestors. Based on a true story, “Forget Me Not,” explores the relationship between a family and a dark past looming in the shadows. This original screenplay is created and developed by director, Alexander Edep and editor, Samantha Kurtz at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Paying homage to a forgotten time in our history, “Forget Me Not,” frightens, thrills, but more importantly serves as a reminder that the past never dies.
