There is no clock in baseball. That doesn’t mean it can’t go cuckoo. The Dodgers had given Clayton Kershaw four or more runs 67 times and they had never lost. Then they took a 6-1 lead over the Cardinals. That seemed like a mountain to most of those in attendance. The Cardinals considered it an assignment.
