We’ve had an impressive kickstart to 2023 social media with some terrific increases on our social media platforms, over the last couple of months. We can proudly announce that we have hit the magical 10,000 followers on our Dogs Queensland Facebook page and climbing! Our Instagram followers are holding their own at almost 1600. Impressions on both platforms combined saw an increase of 16 per cent over the previous month to 63,788, with engagements steady at 4,599 in March.

The Sprint Dog 100 metre trials post in February proved that everyone is looking for an activity to spur their dog toward, with over 4618 views.

Meanwhile, 12 year-old Chloe and her dog Leeroy had over 4281 views about their Agility story which featured in December/ January Dog World Magazine. March shone the spotlight on our Junior Handlers and our St Patrick’s Day posts received over 2300 views, and the loss of QCS service dog Bandit post – 4300 views.

A cross-promotion sharing Brisbane’s Dog Fest at Victoria Park on 19 March 2023 was successful with almost 3500 impressions.

This is proof that if you have good photos, events, human interest stories and post at the right time to get the right audience – the only way is up!
