Taylah Bryant – Junior Handler

– Carolyn Ryan At the Golden Retriever Club of Qld Inc Championship Show held on Sunday 3 July 2022, a new team made their debut.

Taylah Bryant, daughter of successful exhibitor Melanie Rennie showed her Golden Retriever puppy Phoenix for their first show. They were awarded second in a very competitive class of baby puppies. Judge Ruth Thompson (SA), herself from a multigenerational canine family, happily put Taylah and Phoenix through their paces. Both Ruth and Taylah are also accomplished equestrian riders!!! Taylah’s grandmother, Maree Saunders – another breeder/exhibitor of Golden Retrievers – was there to cheer them on.

Breeder and co-owner of Phoenix, De-Arne Hargreaves was all smiles watching this team in action.

It was inspirational to see so much support for this young exhibitor – the future of our dog world. Congratulations Taylah and Phoenix. We all look forward to watching your continued success in our wonderful dog world.
