2021 NATIONAL SHOW: LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB OF QUEENSLAND – POSTPONED The National Show which was to be held on 3 to 4 August 2021 by the Labrador Retriever Club of Queensland at Dogs Queensland Showgrounds, 247 King Avenue, Durack, Queensland has been postponed to a date yet to be set next year. Dogs Queensland has confirmed this postponement has been due to the current ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

2021 NATIONAL SHOW: ROTTWEILER CLUB OF QUEENSLAND – RESCHEDULED The National Show which was to be held on 9 to 12 August 2021 by the Rottweiler Club of Queensland at Dogs Queensland Showgrounds, 247 King Avenue, Durack, Queensland has been rescheduled to now take place on 13 to 16 September 2021 at the same venue. Dogs Queensland has confirmed this change has been due to the current ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

2021 NATIONAL SHOW: WHITE SWISS SHEPHERD DOG ASSOCIATION OF VICTORIA INC – RESCHEDULED Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions the National Show which was to be held on 25 and 26 September 2021 by the White Swiss Shepherd Dog Association of Victoria Inc at KCC Park, Skye, Victoria has been rescheduled to now take place on 24 and 25 September 2022 at the same venue. The Club has provided written confirmation from the RASV that the rescheduled dates will not conflict with breeding judging at the 2022 Royal Melbourne Show.

2021 NATIONAL RETRIEVING CHAMPIONSHIP TRIALS – CANCELLATION Dogs Queensland have advised the ANKC that the National Retrieving Trial to be held by the Dogs Queensland Retrieving and Field Trial Committee on 17 to 19 September 2021 has been cancelled due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. The Committee has decided not to take up the option to host the 2022 National Retrieving Championships and confirmed their support to Dogs NSW hosting this event.

2022 NATIONAL SHOW/RESTRICTED TRIALS: GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER SOCIETY (NSW) INC – CANCELLATION The German Shorthaired Pointer Society (NSW) Inc via Dogs NSW have advised the ANKC that they will not be proceeding with hosting the 2022 National Show/ Restricted Trials which was scheduled to take place on 6 to 8 April 2022 at Dogs NSW Showgrounds, Orchard Hills, New South Wales and the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of SA Inc has agreed to host this event. The approval for the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of SA Inc appears below.

APPROVAL OF 2022 NATIONAL SHOW/ RESTRICTED TRIALS: GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER CLUB OF SA INC The ANKC are pleased to advise the approval of the application received from the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of SA Inc to conduct the 2022 National Show/Restricted Retrieving Ability Test for Gundogs and Obedience Trials on the 5 to 7 September 2022. The National Championship Show is to be held at the David Roche Park, Cromwell Road, Kilburn, South Australia with the Restricted Trials to be held at a venue yet to be advised. The Club has provided written confirmation from the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia that these dates will not clash with the breed judging at the 2022 Royal Adelaide Show.

ANKC LTD CANINE HIP & ELBOW DYSPLASIA REPORT SUBMISSION FORM: AMENDMENT In accordance with Item 4.2.4 of the June 2021 Special Board meeting minutes the ANKC Ltd Canine Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Report Submission Form has been amended to include a check box confirming that the dog has not previously been scored under the ANKC Ltd Canine Hip and Elbow Dysplasia Scheme. DOGS QUEENSLAND MEMBERS VIDEOS We have recently completed and uploaded some videos featuring our members on our website and social media platforms. Imported dogs from New Zealand:

• Application For Re-Registration of Dogs/Bitches (form). • An original three generation Export Pedigree issued by the New Zealand Kennel Club. • An original three generation Certificate of Registration (ownership certificate) issued by the New Zealand Kennel Club – both certificates must show the dog as being registered to the Dogs Queensland member at their Australian address. • A copy of the Export Certificate issued by the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries showing the microchip number. The microchip number on this document must match the microchip number printed on the pedigrees. • Registration fee payable $76.00.

Imported dogs from all other countries:

• Application for Re-Registration of Dogs/Bitches (form). • An original three generation Certified Export Pedigree issued by the overseas FCI affiliated Kennel Club showing the dog as being registered to the Dogs Queensland member at their Australian address. The FCI stamp must be on this pedigree. • A copy of the PEQ Release document issued by the Australian Department of Agriculture at the time the dog was released from quarantine. The microchip number on this document must match the microchip number printed on the pedigree. • Registration fee payable $114.00.

Please note that imported French Bulldogs, British Bulldogs, Pugs and Boston Terriers must be physically viewed by a panel of 3 licenced judges to ascertain that the dog complies with the ANKC Ltd Breed Standard, especially the coat and colour descriptions, as per ANKC regulations.

Imported semen from New Zealand:

• Application for Re-Registration of Semen or Stud Dogs (form). • An original three generation Semen Certificate issued by the New Zealand Kennel Club showing the semen as being registered to the Dogs Queensland member at their Australian address. • A copy of the semen collection certificate. The microchip number on this document must match the microchip number printed on the pedigree • Registration fee payable $76.00.

Imported semen from all other countries:

• Application for Re-Registration of Semen or Stud Dogs (form). • An original or certified copy of the three generation Registration Certificate issued by an FCI affiliated Kennel Club. The FCI stamp must be on this pedigree. A certified copy means the copy must be stamped and endorsed by the overseas equivalent of a JP or Commissioner of Declarations stating that the copy of the pedigree is a true copy of the original document. Alternatively, the relevant overseas Kennel Club can email a copy of the pedigree directly to Dogs Queensland. • A copy of the semen collection certificate. The microchip number on this document must match the microchip number printed on the pedigree. • Written authorisation from the overseas owner of the dog confirming the transfer/sale of semen to the Dogs Qld member. • A copy of the Biosecurity Control release document issued by the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment at the time the semen was released from quarantine. • Registration fee payable $114.00.

Any Main Register progeny resulting from the use of imported semen for French Bulldogs, British Bulldogs, Pugs or Boston Terriers must be physically viewed by a panel of 3 licenced judges to ascertain that the dog complies with the ANKC Ltd Breed Standard, especially the coat and colour descriptions, as per ANKC regulations.
