How Can Watch my Chops Help? Whether you are the brand new human parent of a pup, haven’t had the chance of training your adult dog, or rehomed a pooch, we are here to help. We hold courses in Corby and Kettering in Northamptonshire, but travel and cover the whole of Northamptonshire and South Leicestershire for our one 2 one training sessions. These take place in the comfort of your own home and are completely tailor-made to suit your needs. We understand that you might not be able to attend our
classes due to work commitment or distance, or simply because it would be too overwhelming for your dog to be in a class environment, and that is why one 2 ones can help.
We travel regularly to South Leicestershire; Market Harborough and surrounding villages being very popular destinations for us, to help dog owners with training issues. Quite a few human parents also come to our classes in Northamptonshire from these locations.
We Also Support Leicester Animal Aid We also work alongside Leicester Animal Aid, based in Huncote, Leicestershire, which are a fantastic charity helping cats and dogs find their forever home. The reason we are always happy to support them is because they only use reward based methods to train the dog in their care, and then pass it on to the newly adopted dog’s human parents. Their facilities are fantastic and make the dogs and cats stays, as happy as possible until they are adopted. They always keep the animals mentally
stimulated, in a calm, clean and safe environment. The dogs have several runs within the premises, where they can get some physical exercise. Cats have got wonderful pens with lots of toys, chairs, settees to spend time on.
There have been several occasions, where we have helped owners who had recently adopted a dog from their shelter. We try and do our bit to help new owners taking on a new dog from the shelter. Some dogs come with a few issues that need to be addressed and that is when we can help. It is so rewarding to able to help human parents and their dogs to have a fantastic relationship, based on trust and mutual respect.
We have also raised money for them by asking people to donate and name a super tough dog toy gorilla, that one of them won. People were extremely generous and we will continue to help in any way we can.
