DIGITAL WORKS
Digital Art is my strongest medium of artistic expression. Its diverse range of colors, textures, as well as its digital availability enable me to deliver carefully crafted graphics with high efficiency. I’m fond of making arts in a wide range of styles, anything from colorful cartoons to minimalist illustrations to formal business designs, and I am able to bring them to life through hand-drawn animation as well as motion graphic.

Personal Projects I explore my own identity through self-portraiture and outfit journaling, both of which are mainly recapped in my digital artworks. I put together my outfits the same way I work on my arts: prioritizing chromatic palettes, playing with textures and patterns with a touch of spontaneous fun.

For Mignonne.Inc Bringing the 90s back with Mignonne Inc. - a fashion & accessories retailer based in Saigon wellknown for their kitschy and colorful items. As an attempt to recreate the classic visuals of Japanese video games, I illustrated popular toys in the 1990s using pixel arts, simple shapes and vivid color patches. Hard cases with these prints were steady-sellers of Mignonne Inc.

I planned and produced artworks - both still and motion graphic - for the client’s Instagram news feed during the launch of the printed cases.

Aside from Digital Media, I’m also adept in traditional drawing using colored markers, fine point gel pens, and gouache. Traditional art allows me to create works in a soft flow of colors and lines, at the same time playing with the natural visual effects that different textures give off.

For Point Avenue Becoming an in-house Graphic Designer for Point Avenue (PAV) - an emerging startup in Educational Technology - has shifted the focus of my artworks from exclusively Creative Illustration to Illustration & Marketing Graphic Design. Since April 2019, my works for PAV include the company’s print media, online media (still, video/ online content and motion graphic), designing website layouts, landing pages and administrating website content.
