When going up a curb, the trolley should be held from the backside, with the safety in ‘LOCK’ position.
Holding the trolley from the backside the user will now face the obstacle with their back to it. While holding the backside handles one can now reach and operate the latch which will fold the wheels closest to your feet, this will ensure the trolley to be easily rolled up the curb.
Keep in mind once the the folding latch system is activated there will be more weight distributed to the side of the user, be prepared to grasp the trolley rmly in order to be rolled up the obstacle.
If the backside folding mechanism keeps locking/springing back into place, the user can use their foot to give it a slight push in order to maintain the trolley folded and be pulled up the step or curb. In some cases the trolley will have to be lowered from the backside end in order for the folding mechanism to rest on the obstacle and allow for the user to pull the trolley onto the obstacle easily.
